Called them through my home warranty company to fix a leaky faucet. The plumber said that the whole granite countertop has to come off to fix the leak, we couldn't find anyone to take off the granite counter top without cracking it.

My wife asked me to get a second opinion from another plumber, I got another plumber from task rabbit and he was able to fix it for $70.

Very poor service, Avoid them.

My home warranty company sent this company to my house for a leak issue that I was having in my attic, which has a workable crawl space. When you call their company, their automated recording states that all plumbers will arrive at your home wearing a mask for your protection and theirs due to the delta variant being extremely contagious. When the plumber arrived he was bothered that I asked him to wear a mask to protect ourselves from covid. After putting a mask on he proceeded to the attic and from a 10 feet distance, without truly inspecting the water line, told me that he did not see a leak. I then asked him how did he know that without truly inspecting the line. The problem here was that this company's plumber did not want to work in a crawl space so he proceeded to lie about the plumbing leak stating that there wasn't any leak and reported that back to my insurance company and his employer. He was more than willing to charge me the $65 just for him showing up to my house and absolutely doing no work to deserve it. I would stay away from this company who seems to have no accountability for their employees. Their customer reviews should tell you everything you need to know about how this company functions. If you choose to hire this company, don't say the reviews didn't warn you about them. My home warranty company chose them and if I would have know of their terrible ratings, there is no way I would have hired this unprofessional company.

2021 July. Horrible company to work with. Would NOT recommend.
My home warranty sent this company out for a kitchen clogged drain. He spent a merely 10 minutes trying to snake and said SORRY can't get thru. Before even starting the job they collected the fee from the home warranty then did NOTHING to help clear the clog. They are just in for the money and I am completely unsatisfied with my Home Warranty backing them up and hiring these companies that lazy and a complete failure to help. This is the second time they send Joe blow crappy technicians to fix the job. So here now I had to hire my own plumbing company and pay out again and of course they did the job with NO problem.

They padded our estimate with unnecessary work, insisting that the changes were necessary. We called three other licensed plumbers for a quote and none of them told us this work was necessary.

Worst ever!!! Beware!!! They only want to collect your warranty service fee/copay and then close the case with your warranty without doing any work!!! I would give them a zero star if I could.

Our home warranty assigned Top Notch Plumbing to fix a toilet flange. The technician was supposed to arrive between 9 and noon on a Thursday. I had to call at 11:45 to find out if he was coming or not. He arrived 30 minutes after noon.

We had removed the toilet and you could clearly see that the flange was broken due to normal wear and tear. The technician said that the concrete had to be broken so that he could install a new flange correctly. He wanted to get paid the service fee right away. After I paid, he said that we only pay that fee and that the warranty company would pay the rest. He was going to be in his car writing the report so that he could submit it to the warranty company the same day and that someone in the office would call me the next day to schedule a time for him to repair the flange. I waited until Monday and no calls. So I called them and the person who picked up said that he, the technician or the warranty company would call me before the end of the day. Of course, no one calls. I logged into my warranty account and found out that they marked it as complete! I had to submit a recall since nothing was done. The next morning I get a call from Top Notch trying to schedule someone to come out because of the recall. I had to explain what happened. Again, they said someone was going to call me back. But nothing after a couple of hours, so I called the warranty company. The technician never submitted a diagnostic or report for the first trip and marked it as complete. (According to Top Notch they mark it as complete because they came out to see what was going on.)

I called Top Notch for a refund. But the person said that the technician was going to submit a diagnostic today (Tuesday), after a few days from when he said he was going to submit it. I insisted on getting my money back because I would have to wait a few more days for them to come out and did not want to wait any longer.

To my surprise, the warranty company calls me later and says that the technician told them that we broke the flange by removing the toilet. So the warranty company would not cover it. The technician saw that the screw was rotten and broke in half, but lied to the Warranty company (and us).

Top Notch Plumbing was absolutely terrible. The scheduled date they gave me they had to push for personal reasons for their plumber which I understand. Instead of putting me first the next day I still had to wait until noon for the technician to show up. The technician spent no more than 5 minutes at my house to determine that I had an internal break in my toilet's drain line. He left the house and as he was walking out said I would need to reach back out to American Home Shield and their office to determine on how to replace the toilet. In his diagnosis he said that I broke the internal drain inside the toilet and the home warranty company was not going to approve my claim. If you try searching on how to break the internal drain on a toilet nothing comes up so this company was just wanting to be lazy and collect the service fee from the warranty company. Top Notch Plumbing is a joke of a plumbing company and are better off with anyone else.

2021March. Had HORRIBLE experience. Would NOT recommend.

My home warranty contracted and deployed a tech from Top Notch Plumbing. He arrived an hour after the time range and never called to say he was running late. Upon arrival, looked at our issue and announced it won't be an easy fix and won't be approved by warranty company, so he left. He said he'd write a report and his office people would call us back within 2 days to provide a quote for what the cost would be if we wanted them to come back, fix and we'd pay out of pocket. Five days later and multiple calls to them, they still have no updates or quote available. Their only response is: "I see no notes, the technician didn't submit anything, we have your address and service request but no information, we can't do anything."

During this time, they had reported to our home warranty that they had resolved the service request. We are now in process of reopening the case with our warranty company. This plumbing company and their customer service are terrible and a pain to deal with. We paid copay fee to warranty company and it was an absolute waste because the plumbing contractor didn't even do their part of the contract. Totally unprofessional and unethical.

scammers, had a water heater go out, called home warranty company who dispatch these guys. tech shows up, doesn't check pipes, volts, amps or anything. takes pictures and says i need a new tank. he leaves, no call back, 4hrs later I call his dispatch and they have no idea whats going on, they call me back later asking for the service fee, saying its for his travel, and diagnosis of the tank, bs. I tell him no and thats not what the fees for but I'd gladly pay him the fee if the tech was actually currently fixing the problem. he said he would call me back, but instead just put in a work completed with my warranty co. they don't even have a physical address so it makes you wonder how legitimate they are.

Very disappointed. Home warranty company sent Top Notch Plumbing out for a leaking faucet. Technician arrived and confirmed what we already knew - the faucet needed to be replaced. Technician could not access the valve and said "the unit seems to be ceased internally, you may need to contact the vendor Moen for replacement." Top Notch closed the work order and documented it as "mechanical damage present" and the home warranty company denied the claim. Absolutely false. I (homeowner) contacted Moen and they 1) confirmed the unit has a history of ceasing and 2) sent a brand new unit out without question. Top Notch Plumbing closed the work order with false information (damage) and now the warranty company won't cover a reinstallation. Avoid this company.
