Welp. Sorry in advance. I had to give a 1 star review. Had John come out to give me an estimate on a pretty straight forward job I needed done. He came out, I told him what I needed done. He told me he needed to contact his supply house to get what he needed. Called him the next day and said he was still waiting to hear from his supply house. So I thought I would help him out by finding someone that did have what I needed installed. Called to let him know. Left a message and was never called back. Sorry, but that's not acceptable with me. Be upfront with me if you can't do the job or don't want to.

Top Notch Plumbing was the assigned plumber through American Home Shield (AHS) for the repair of my Hot Water Heater. They must treat their regular customers better than the warranty holders, because they treated me horribly.

They came out on the scheduled date which was a Wednesday and needed to order a part to complete the repair and said they would be back on Friday no later than Saturday of that week. Friday came and i called and no one answered even i left several messages. I called AHS and they got in touch with them, i was told by AHS that the part hadn't arrived and Top Notch will give me a call when it does to reschedule the appointment.

I never received a call from Top Notch, so I called them Monday morning and spoke with Hailey. She placed me on hold and after a few minutes the phone hung up on her end, she never call back after i left several messages. I call AHS again, they reached them and rescheduled another appointment for Wednesday of that week. I was told that i would receive a message letting me know when they were coming because i couldn't take off work for the 4 hour hour window. I don't live far from my place of employment and i can get home quickly. I didn't receive a message informing me that the tech was on his way, i only received a message letting me know he been there and left. I called Top Notch several times because no one answered finally i spoke to Hailey and again she was very rude telling me i need to reschedule. I asked her about the message before the tech arrived, she said call AHS and take it up with them. I tried to ask her another question, she said are you rescheduling your appointment because i have another caller on the line and hung up on me.

This is poor customer service. The techs are probably good, but the gatekeeper Hailey is awful.

I have used Top Notch plumbing for may years. They have serviced and installed our water heater, sinks, toilets, and showers. They always show up on time or early, wear protective clothing so as not to bring dirt or weather into the house, quote a price for the job UP FRONT, and do the work in an orderly and professional manner. I can't say enough about their quality and integrity, especially in our fly-by-night economy. I would gladly recommend them to anybody, and would trust them with any job they say they would do.
