Be sure to get estimated costs up front with this company. Better yet call another plumber. They will charge you up to $250 for a service call and won't even fix the problem.

Take extreme caution and do heed the negative reviews! This is an unethical business with NO transparency! Excessive billing ""by the job"" which they don't tell you when scheduling or before the job. we signed nothing prior to the job as nothing was given to us to sign. We paid approximately $100 for supplies and over $400.00 an hour but of course they will not share the supply cost or their hourly wage because they charge by the job! When we spoke to Jay, the manager, he was belittling and abusive! He repeatedly told us we have obviously never hired a licensed plumber before! We have only hired many licensed plumbers over the years. I question we dealt with one here. We have asked for a receipt which was not given to us when we paid the plumber but have yet to receive one. They have left us few options but to take alternative measures. I have supplied the pictures for our $897.70 fee. This is the first negative review I have ever posted before. I feel so strongly about having been abused and taken advantage of as a disabled senior that I had to post this to protect other consumers!

Top hat installed a new hot water heater in my home on4-25-2023. After installing the new hot water heater it develop a slow leak causing damage to the interior of my home. They filed a claim with their insurance and claim was denied. I had pics of the damage before the leak and many after but was still denied. This damage was over $800.00 which I have repaired myself. I think Top Hat should pay me themselves but have received no reply.

Good work is not cheap, cheap work is not good. As a biz Owner myself for many years, I lived by these words.
If you live in the Branson West/Kimberling City area, you will see Top Hat trucks all lined up on the hill off Highway 13. As I drove by, I thought a good biz Owner knows how to advertise. So, when I broke a water line under my fridge a year ago upon moving into my new home, I called them. An hr later, Top Hat Plumbing showed up, fixed the problem post haste at a fair price. A year later, I needed to replace the ""Barbie"" Toilet in the guest bathroom. Top Hat got the call, (ask for Christy) they showed up, installing the new throne today. Fast, friendly, courteous and competitively priced.
They are a family owned business, one of millions that keep our Country moving. Let's support them.

Don't believe the negative reviews!! Chris & the crew at Tophat plumbing did an awesome job on our house. We recently purchased our forever home & noticed the plumbing was sub par. We want it to last the rest of our lives, so we called them. They came 1 day after estimate. We got a new hot water heater, new water softener, new whole house water filter, new toilet installed & plumbed to master suite, (why the bathroom didn't have a toilet is beyond us) new faucet in kitchen, new washer box & brand new pex in the crawl space to every toilet, sink & everything else that needs water. They even replaced an outdoor spicket that had froze & busted at some time. They showed up early & worked entire day, they even hauled off all the old stuff they removed. We highly recommend them & will definitely use them in the future, should the need ever arise. They went above & beyond & we are totally satisfied with the quality & professionalism of their work. We cannot thank them enough.

WOW!!! I called for service after hours on 6/6/2022 for a shower repair. I was told they would be at my residence on 6/7/2022 between 8am and 12pm. I get a call on 6/7/22 at about 830 am saying that I was talking to a call service, and they don't know how to schedule. The gentleman tells me that the earliest they could get me in would now be ""maybe"" thursday. I then get forwarded to a different person. This gentleman asks me what was going on, I tell him the situation, and then he asks me if I know how a schedule works. To be fair I have used this company in the past and bought a ""membership"" from them, which I was under the impression with this you get same day service, discounts, etc...The man then tells me that just because I have a ""membership"" does not mean that they are not going to get to me at a drop of a hat. This is truly unbelievable customer service. Well I can tell you one thing they will not have to worry about me as a customer moving forward. UNREAL!!!

We own a business & called this company in March 2022, the guy they sent named Scott came out to fix a leak & a faucet.. Clearly he did not know what he was doing because he stated to me that he had to go to the supply place to get a part... He then received a phone call & the guy talked him through fixing the faucet without leaving to get a part. He then left & came back with some one else & they fixed one side of the sink that leaked... They said they were finished... I met another guy to pay them for their services.. The very next day the other side of the sink still leaking....I called to get this resolved & Scott the plumber informed my husband I told him not to fix the other side of the sink!!!! REALLY??? who says that??? I then called the company back, spoke to the owner trying to get this resolved & he stated he didn't like threats...???!!! We own a business & would never treat our customers this way!! We would make it right!!! I would never recommend this company!!!
