Gilbert and his team are total professionals. We call them every time something goes wrong from smaller things (garbage disposal replacement) to much bigger jobs. They have ended up being a reliable go-to company. They also know how to work with insurance companies for major issues. I should have written this review years ago!

I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I had a clogged toilet. I called them late in the afternoon, expecting they would tell me I had to wait until the next day. To my shock, the dispatcher said they could have someone over in the next couple of hours. Sure enough, Ray showed up an hour after for what we both thought would be a quick snaking of a simple clog. It wasn't. When his initial effort failed to resolve the issue, He said he would have to get some more equipment and gave me a quote for the extra work. In spite of a valiant effort, he said that he thought the clog was deep down in the pipes and he would have to get a camera down there to confirm. After getting some more heavy-duty equipment and also having to remove the toilet from its mounts, he finally finished two hours later. Rather than just put the toilet back, he said he felt he had to place a new wax ring around it to ensure that it wouldn't leak. He also did such a thorough cleanup afterward that he didn't stop until it the floor and toilet looked even better than before. But the best part was, that in spite of all this unanticipated extra work, Ray said he would honor the original price quote: promptness, relentlessness, honesty, integrity, and thoroughness. What more could you ask for in any company you call for service? Thank you, Ray, and Top Grade Plumbing.

We were frustrated with the drain problem and called Top Grade Plumbing after seeing many good reviews. The lady on the phone was very nice and set up an appointment according to our schedule. Gilbert was doing a job across the street from my house, so I told him that a sewer inspection I had a little over a year ago when I purchased my house showed a root intrusion in the sewer main line and could he give me an estimate of what it would cost to replace that section. Gilbert said he would call me in a day or two to discuss the scope of the job, which he did. We set a date and time for Gilbert to inspect the sewer himself so he could give me an estimate. His inspection was thorough and included not only the section of the main line where I knew the problem was, but also the entire house. We agreed on the scope and price and Gilbert put my job on his schedule. Gilbert replaced a portion of the main sewer line and installed a clean-out. He and his worker arrived at the house on time and did a SUPERB job! As has been said in other reviews, the work was clean, and after the job was finished they cleaned up immaculately, which is rare these days in this and other trades! I recommend Gilbert and Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter without reservation. I think you will be more than satisfied with the work they do and the straightforward and hard-working manner in which Gilbert and his crew perform their work. You are awesome, Gilbert! Thank you for your professionalism and the quality of work that you and your team perform!

We had big issues with blocked drains from awful builders who clogged them up by pouring materials down them. Gilbert dropped everything on easter Sunday to come and sort the issue and he stayed until it was sorted. He's very thorough and he and his team are so helpful. I highly recommend Top Grade Plumbing.

I agree with all the other reviews about Top Grade. Gilbert did a fantastic job with a couple of basic repairs. The billing for the big job seemed fair. The team worked hard the two days they were at the house and stayed late to finish the job. With the dirty job of replacing toilets and working in the yard, they kept the work area clean and were very attentive to keeping my house clean. The difference between a 4 star rating and a 5 star rating was the way Gilbert treated me as a customer. I highly recommend Top Grade.

Needed to have a drain cleaning done for our laundry / kitchen, so I gave them a call, the lady on the phone was very professional and set up an appointment later in the day. Gilbert came by and provided us with excellent service and professionalism for the drain cleaning. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain to us how the back up occurred and what possible solutions would be for our other plumbing questions. I will definitely keep their number for future plumbing services.

We purchased our first home recently and encountered some plumbing issues. After collecting quotes and meeting a few plumbers, we decided to go with Top Grade because of Gilbert! He was the most personable, transparent, and seemingly honest of them all. The job him and his crew did was install a clean out, partial sewer line repair, and updating the water pipes/connections in the laundry area. All of which turned out great.

A few days later, we were at the new house and noticed a gas smell. We identified it was coming from the water heater. SoCalGas came out and found that the water heater was no good. Of course we called up Gilbert and he came out quickly to remove and install a new water heater for us.

Gilbert and his crew and great! Good quality work and very responsive.

They send us a flyer that clearly shows any sewer or Drain cleaning $39.99. You can check in Yelp advertising too. As soon as we gave him our address , he said that price is for interior, exterior is $95.00. We said okay,
Then he came , he had to pass the gate in calabasas, he saw the house without even trying, he said this job will be $500.00 to $600.00 . !!!!!
He did not even pull his hand out of his pocket.
I don't know about the quality of their work. But starting with $39.99 then going up to $600.00 without even taking the top drain cover and keeping your hand in your pocket, all will tell me is that I am about to be ripped. I wouldn't mind giving him $95.00 to, if he would at least bring his tools and try for 5 minutes and then tell me this job will cost so and so . I even may would accept it as well . But not coming in my house and right away telling me $500.00 to $600.00 . This is not professional at all.
I may remove this comment after the manager see it . I just want them to know , people are not stupid.
