My tenants had hired Tom to fix some wall damage. Matching the wall texture can be tricky. I have looked at walls where there was an obvious patch because the texture didn't match. I was really happy to see his texturing was a very good match to the original. I have hired Tom a few times now and he has consistently given me a good result. He does great work, is on-time, communicates well and does a great job cleaning up at the end of the job. I know I will have more work for Tom in the future.

We got recessed lighting done recently and had to patch a few holes in our ceiling and texture them.
I called Tom and sent him a picture of how the ceiling looked. He was quick to respond and explained in detail the work that was required and provided a reasonable quote.
We setup a time to him and he showed up at the decided time. His work was impeccable and he left no mess afterwards. The job was done perfectly and as expected. The texture work matched with the existing texture and we can't tell the difference.
He was kind enough to explain each step of the process and always made sure I understood everything that was going on.
Would definitely recommend him!

Tom is a great guy and very helpful. Flexible schedule; showed up on-time; fix my kitchen faucet in 30 min. Unfortunately, I didn't get all the parts before he showed up so we went shopping. Didn't charge me for OT. When the job is done, he left me no mess to clean up.

I know who to call next time when I need fixes around the house!

I have a Proform EKG 770 treadmill given by family friends that just didn't work after plugging in to power socket. I called few treadmill repairs and as expected, they all charge $99 visiting fee. I was very sure its a minor issue. Then I called Tom after reading up Yelp reviews.

Tom also charges $99 visiting fee, but if its a minor issue, he wanted to save me that cost. He asked me to send pictures of treadmill console and a small 10second video. Then he gave couple of suggestions over phone on how to fix it. That's it. Treadmill started working. No charge. Very rare to see so honest people these days.

Will definitely call for future home repair needs.

I was looking for someone to assemble a Marcy home gym, and Tomas Castro's name came up. After reading the other reviews, I felt he was the right guy for the job. I called him on Wednesday evening, and he came over the next morning. He spent 5-6 hours assembling the gym. Tomas did a fantastic, quality job and I'd recommend him to anyone!

WE had an appointment for Tom to come out and do an estimate at 3:30 pm today, but he never showed up or bothered to call. This is NOT professional to me. Sad to say, but all the 5 stars he got will be affect by his lack on professionalism in this case!

Tom Castro is a great, honest handyman! I called Tom based on the Yelp reviews and he didn't let me down. We have an HOA gym that we needed some treadmills, elliptical, and bikes tuned up. We had received quotes from Club Care to get the treadmills working again....but it would have been cheaper to buy new ones. Tom to the rescue! Tom looked over all the equipment in the gym, was very honest with the repairs that were necessary, provided a web site to order the necessary parts, and will be coming back to finish once the parts arrive. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and provided plenty of advice for keeping the gym running well. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone that is looking to have gym equipment put together or maintained.
