Recommended Customer Reviews
Tony's plumbing has been great to work with! They roughed in our basement for a full bathroom, quality work and prices and we are so happy with the outcome. Travis did a phenomenal job on the tile!
Eric also came out on short noticed to look at our basement ejector pump that was not working. He had it fixed & up and running in a few hours and it didn't cost us an arm & leg! Super nice & very knowledgeable.
Jimmy S.Anytime I've had a plumbing emergency, Tony's Plumbing has reliably taken care of the situation without any inflated pricing. They have proven themselves to me and they are the plumbers I call for all of my rental properties.
Called Tony's plumbing to clear a tub drain and review plumbing work done by previous plumber before moving forward with bathroom renovations. Previous plumber worked for a contractor that didn't finish the job. I wanted to be sure the plumbing was ok to proceed with renovations. Tony's plumber, Travis, looked at it and said it'd work. It DIDN'T. 2 months and a bathroom restoration later the faucet could not be installed because the water lines had not been stubbed in with enough line to attach faucet to. I was told I had to tear out everything I'd just put in to install the faucet. That included a vanity, quartz countertop, sink, wainscot and green board. I called Tony's to ask why they thought the short stub was acceptable and Eric, owner, responded their 'plumber is licensed and if he said it's ok I trust that. I don't know who you have working there' implying it was somehow my fault. After some back and forth Eric had his plumber, Travis, call me. Travis's response, in short, was he didn't know what I was 'putting there' so it's not on him. He looked at my very small bathroom that had a tub and toilet already installed. The remaining 40 square feet of bathroom space was enough to walk in and put a vanity. The wall we looked at had a mirrored medicine cabinet in the upper wall with lights above. It was plumbed for a sink and water lines from a washer (see photo). I don't know what else Travis needed to see or I needed to say for him to recognize as a 'professional licensed plumber' a sink was going there. Also, they're very expensive, $170 to clear a tub drain and get bad 'expert' opinion. Tony's would get zero stars if it were possible.
Dale W.Live in the neighborhood and thought I would try Tony's Plumbing for a water heater replacement. Eric Drexler (the owner) did come the same day I called with a WH and claimed he would install it that day. BUT after starting the job he claimed he didn't have common fittings and tools on the truck and left. Eric was difficult to deal with, sent different employees back multiple times, and overcharged on his bill. The same day installation turned into 3 days. I missed a lot of work and did a lot of calling and running home. I am convinced Eric/employees were making multiple trips to pad the bill roughly an extra $200 dollars. I was also overcharged for simple fittings that were to be included with the installation. I paid for only the agreed upon amount of the installation as nothing more was done or required. Would not recommend.
I'm so glad I found Tony's Plumbing! When my regular plumber was unavailable during the icy freeze of a couple of weeks ago, and two of my tenants lost hot water, Tony's saved the day! Family owned & operated, they are courteous & skilled , quickly diagnosing the source of the problem. Tony's is a keeper company!
Mandy G.Hired Tony's to replace our water heater. They came and replaced left a huge mess, water and insulation everywhere. Scratched the floor and freezer. The new water heater was leaking. Another plumber Travis and coworker came to replace with a new water heater the following day. Both plumbers had masks below their nose. My 17 year old son over heard them talking about BLM c*cksuckers and they were using the N word. I'm disgusted, completely unprofessional and ignorant. Do not use Tony's plumbing.
it was worse than not good. these ""plumbers"" are racist and use inappropriate language inside homes when they assume they are not being heard. I am not happy with their services what so ever.
Keith W.Always fair pricing and does the job within the time frame they give. They are honest and will let you know of different options and ways of doing things. They don't try to up sale you, but they try to educate you on what needs to happen. I've used them for 3 different plumbing needs in my house and they have always fixed the issue the first time!
Wow! Recommended from my Nextdoor Neighborhood. They came out & cleared & restored sewer that Tom Drexler tried to bilk me for $3800! Tony's price, $285. Dave & Parker very professional & friendly.
Kimber G.I have found my go-to plumber for as long as I live in Louisville.
First, they offer free estimates, which I highly appreciate. I realize that taking time out of a busy schedule to potentially do something that results in zero payment is a risk. But it's awesome. My respect for a company immediately increases when they offer that and I'm much more likely to utilize their services.
Second, pricing! Travis came by last week to give me an estimate for my basement bathroom remodel project. I was blown away by how reasonable the price was. The last time I hired a plumber, I was ripped off big time. I've been hesitant ever since and haven't really trusted plumbers, but Travis was awesome.
I ended up hiring them to complete my project. Called on Tuesday and they scheduled me for the same week, Friday morning. Travis arrived on time, calling in advance to let me know. He put in a new seal for the toilet after I tiled the bathroom, installed the toilet, put new shut off valves for the toilet and sink, installed my new pedestal sink, replaced some valves in the stand up shower and installed the shower trim kit I purchased at Lowe's (it's cheaper to buy your own materials and let them be installed, otherwise the prices are marked up). Oh, and he last minute replaced my outside water faucet because the handle on the old one was broken off.
He worked nonstop for almost 3 hours and cleaned up once he finished. He also double-checked his work to make sure no leaks occurred and explained what he did. All of this for $550. What a deal!
Like I said, any plumbing I need in the future, I'm calling Travis!
