Came home from a weekend away to find the hot water heater had stopped working. The plumber we'd been using for 10 years couldn't help us for two days. Found Tony's based on NextDoor recommendations. Checked the Yelp reviews & gave them a call. Within 2 hours of calling Tony's, Paul was at my door. He looked at the 21yo unit, and suggested trying the most inexpensive repair first to see if that was the problem instead of jumping to ""you need a new hot water heater"". Paul replaced the thermocouple and the hot water heater is fixed! Paul has earned Tony a new customer!

Had a completely blocked kitchen sink. Took off the trap, but it was clear so that meant call an expert. Paul came out today and took care of it no problem. On time, friendly, answered all my questions and charged a reasonable rate, everything explained in advance. Got an invoice I could understand. Can't ask for more than that. I'll definitely call Tony's the next time I need a plumber and will pass the word!

After years of fighting root intrusion into my mainline sewer pipe I decided it was time to replace, reline or pipe burst. I received bids from 4 qualified plumbers with experience in this area. Digging up the old pipe was not an option due to cost and depth of my mainline. Pipe bursting was also an expensive solution because of the depth of holes that were required and the multiple turns that my mainline pipe makes. The normal practice to line the sewer is to blow the liner down the old pipe, but that can cause problems at the turns. Also, the normal liner cannot withstand roto-rooting. John from Tony's Plumbing evaluated my situation and said they could PULL a new liner, without digging up my yard, and his liner is tough enough to withstand roto-rooting. Tony's is the only plumber in the South Bay that uses this type of liner that you pull. They did an excellent job, left the work site clean. Their cost for this better quality liner was the same as for the blown liner from the other 3 plumbers. If you have a mainline sewer problem I totally recommend Tony's Plumbing.

I called Tony's to have a galvanized drain replaced with ABS and upsize the diameter to accommodate a quick drain walk in tub. Keven1 came to do the job(with an assistant) and they very expertly completed the work in 5 hours. The tub now drains very well with the new oversized piping. As before I am very pleased with Tony's plumbing!

We have used Tony's Plumbing three times in the past year. He came highly recommended, but we are tough customers and it takes a lot to impress us.... Tony was prompt, honest, very knowledgeable and personable. He took time to listen to our concerns and explain in detail what needed to be done. He payed close attention to your needs and made sure we understood the necessary steps in the service. Things were finished in a timely manner, with expertise and care. I will never call another plumber. We give Tony our two thumbs up and confidence in any job in our home, and recommend him to all of our friends and those reading this review!

Paul came during the one-hour window promised.

He uninstalled and moved our old dishwasher out of the way without scratching our floors and installed our new dishwasher. We weren't told we would need a new electrical assembly or hoses by our supplier (Best Buy online), but Paul had everything new in his truck already to save us time and trouble.

I had to leave for an appointment, and when he was finished, he called for payment as agreed.

When I came home there was a handwritten note reminding us to not put coffee grounds, peels, rice, etc. down the garbage disposal. He had quite a few more examples, too. He actually took the time to write that. And he was nice to our dog. Oh, and no plumbers you-know-what showing! I highly recommend Paul. He is seriously the nicest man and super prompt, honest, & knowledgeable.

This is my first time on yelp in years, so that should say something. Way to go, Tony's Plumbing!
