Starting with a small operation, Kent managed the business with one truck while Wendy handled the office from their basement. Wendy recalls the days of drafting invoices while their kids sat next to her, coloring or doing schoolwork. As their children matured, so did their business! Many recognized Kent's dedication to his customers and his honesty, which helped spread the word. With a surge in customers, they decided to remodel their garage into a larger office. At this point, their kids were older and more self-sufficient; Danielle was in middle school, while Luke was in high school.

Kent Tong was born and raised in Tiffin, OH, with his siblings, two sisters and a brother. Douglas Tong, his father, operated a plumbing and heating business from their residence, exposing Kent to HVAC and plumbing from childhood. He has fond memories of going out on calls with his father and watching him work, just as he now does with his son Luke.
