Tomo is the best! We've used him for 3 jobs now. From emergency drain repair to installing a tankless water heater and running new gas/water lines. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful as well as prompt. The work he does is throrough and he leaves everything as clean as he finds it.

I based my decision to use Tomo's on the Yelp reviews here. I have to say, everyone on here is right: Tom definitely lives up to his reputation. INSTANT service, polite, expedient, and the problem was pretty much a no-brainer that I could fix myself...but he was able to identify the problem whereas I couldn't.. He didn't try to gouge me or convince me to give him the really simple job, has a very fair service call fee, and even gave me some good advice. DECISION MADE: I'll be hiring Tom to renovate the plumbing in my laundry room this winter. A true professional with integrity....what a breath of fresh air in today's world.....and he ain't hard on the eyes either :-)

A rare professional! Someone who truly warrants a 5 star review. Prompt (he arrived within 20 minutes of my call) polite, respectful (asked if I wanted him to remove his shoes) and very reasonably priced for the quality of service.
I can't imagine you'll ever call another plumber again.

Tomo is definitely one of those guys that does what he needs to do to get the job done! I'm definitely glad that Yelp pulled through for me once again.
My issue was that I thought I could swap out the shower cartridge myself and had bought all the necessary hardware to do so. I'm pretty handy at most DIY projects and this seemed like an easy one until I pulled the entire core of the cartridge out without the outer shell. At this point I'm pretty much SOL.
Tomo came to my rescue with a simple box of magic tools to get the job done. The outer shell of the cartridge was bonded to the piping as the hard water lime built up through out the years. He worked his magic for about 15 minutes and I faintly hear a ""YES!!!"" Then it was all up and up from that point out.
This guy knows exactly what he's doing and does it very well with a smile on top. I am very pleased with the work and will be a long time customer. Very professional, efficient, and has VERY competitive rates! I highly recommend him to anyone! BTW, I called him around 8 pm and he was at my door within 15 minutes. Thank you Plumbing GODs, this is one of the good apples!

I picked Tomo based on reviews, I must agree; he's great. Efficient, reasonable, good dude. He had to take out a 12 inch square in my wall. He found the problem instantly, fixed it and gave me thenumber of a guy to fix the dry wall.
Fabulous.

I was worried about dealing with a plumber. I hate dealing with issues I have no clue about. I checked out Yelp and saw Tomo's reviews and called. As a single mom I was freaking out on how much this was going to run me.He came out took a look at my garbage disposal, toilet and shower assesed the problems and gave me a quote. It was more than fair. One of the jobs was a simple fix and he didn't take advantage of me and try to gauge me for it.He returned the next day(after I got off work at 6:30pm)and did the rest of the work. He was fast and efficient. I will always call him for any plumbing problems.

There is a reason that Tomo has so many 5 star reviews, he DESERVES it! Not only is he super nice and accommodating, but he does good work, charges a reasonable price, and gives you a 1 hour window (not 4 hours like some places) for arrival time. Granted he was a wee bit late, but he is worth waiting for. He may be very busy, but he managed to fit me in within a few days. He is my go to guy for plumbing problems. Thanks Tom!

The good:
Tomo is as good as it gets. I've been though a lot of plumbers in my 30 years in my old house. Tomo, I can recommend without reservations. On time, cheery, knowledgeable, competent, quick to respond no matter the hour and reasonably priced. What more could you ask?
The bad:
When you have a reputation like he has, everybody wants you and he is only one man so he can only do so much. There are only 24 hours in the day (Earth day that is). There are three solutions to this problem A) you can wait for him (not always possible eh?), II) he can, and does, recommend someone he trusts, when he's too busy and you just can't wait or 3) he can hire more staff but as anybody in business knows, your most valuable asset is your reputation and that's just too risky to hand to a new hire when you're too busy to monitor them, train them or repair their mess ups.
He is worth waiting for!

If I could give Tom more than five stars I would.
First, I will need to give some back story. Our water heater was leaking in our brand new home (3 years old now) and I was having issues getting it covered by the warranty through Rheem because the company that built the home purchased the water heater before construction on the home was finished. So when I tried to get a new one through my 5 year warranty they told me that it had expired already and that they would not cover it. After many hours on the phone talking with several managers at Rheem and sending paperwork proving that the home was brand new when we moved in and that we had only lived in that house for a couple of years I finally convinced them to honor the 5 year warranty by having them adjust the start date of the warranty to match the day we bought the house. That is when I found Tomo's Service Plumbing on Yelp.
Tom was very courteous on the phone and was able to find the exact replacement water I needed and install it the next morning. He showed up on time and ready to go. He was very friendly, answered all of my questions and even gave me some helpful pointers on proper water heater care all while he quickly and skillfully replaced my old water heater with the new one.
After the water heater was replaced I called Rheem to let them know what the new serial number was and somehow they seemed to be suffering from amnesia because they told me again that they would not cover the warranty and that there was no record of any manager agreeing to honor it. Fortunately, I had written down the name of the manager and the entry number that authorized my claim. I informed them of that information which miraculously cleared their amnesia. They re-approved my warranty and requested the paperwork along with the sticker from the old water heater. After Tom had sent them what they requested Rheem claimed that they never got the paperwork so Tom wrote me a check for the amount Rheem was supposed to cover under the warranty while he took the issue up with Rheem knowing full well that he would most likely not get reimbursed by them. Now that is customer service!
He now has a customer for life!
Sincerely,
Chris Newsom

well he is very nice, but i dont think he is knowledgable for fixing water heater....
we had the water heater problem, the thing that we concern was whether he could fix it right away so we could have hot water to use...
he was unsure the problem, so he assumed that was the valve and the thermostat problem, and then he told my husband that for fixing both will be 200 dollars but just the thermostat will be $120, and he said that will fix everything and we will be able to use it right away
he took off the valve and well it broke so he told my husband to go get the part and then he fixed it. He fixed the water pressure pipe and he found out its not thermostat problem and of course he did not have the part for the water heater...so pretty much he did not fix it
i guess it was a communication problem, he told us that he fixed the valve and cost us $100
well we knew that the valve have to change but its not immediate like that but well we paid him and we have to wait the other day to figure out what we have to do..:( and especially he did not state the price correctly before he started doing something
in general, he is a very nice guy that he called the company and see if they can get us a new water heater because we are still under warranty, but well we know the answer ""that is a no"" and well we called the home depot and of course they said no
then
today we found the other guy, Diego, he knew that its just the control problem, so he went to home depot for us and got the part and fix it
he offers better price than tom and he fixed the water heater! Should of find Diego before....:(
