As a broker and property manager, I will say Tomo is one of the best contractors I know. He always seems to find time to get jobs in, shows up on time, identifies problems quickly, and makes competent repairs and replacements. Most importantly, he conducts his affairs with uncompromising honesty and integrity. He is always my first choice for plumbing needs, and I only wish he covered more territory in North County. Highly recommended.

Had Tomo's come out on 1/24/14. It was a tad of a hassle scheduling the appointment but I could not have asked for better results.

The Good: On time, did more listening than talking (no selling), quiet, professional, knowledgeable, and I was VERY pleased with the work.

The Bad: Had to reschedule a couple of times but he was upfront and honest about availability so I would not hold that against him.

If you need a good plumber, he's the guy. I give good reviews where they are deserved and Tomo's earned theirs.

Spoke to Tomo on Friday and he told me he would come out to my house to fix a clogged drain on Monday between 9:30am and 10:30am. He didn't show. I called him at 11:45am to see what the deal was and his phone went straight to voicemail. So, here I am trying to get someone else to come out on my only day off of work since this guy left me hanging. Incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. Thanks for having me sit here and wait for you and not even having the courtesy to let me know you weren't going to make it.

Of course, Thanksgiving day, our kitchen sink decides it's going to back up and not drain.

Promptly, the morning after the holiday, Tom answered our prayers.

Here walks in a handsome, Irishman, accent and all, fully smiling, and thrilled to be of help. He arrived immediately within the two hour promised time frame, and absolutely over delivered --with no hidden costs or secret financially gained agendas.

Please don't bother calling any of those Jumbo local companies. They'll take ya for all you've got. Besides, someone's gotta pay for all those commercials with the catchy jingles. Not, I!

My boyfriend decided he was going to change out the garbage disposal. Well.... That didn't work out. Tom answered the phone, gave us a fair quote for labor ( was at least $10-$20 less than 2 others I called)and gave us a 1 hr window of when he would be over the next day. He called on his way over at exactly the time he quoted the day before. He had to use some special tools as there was rust on the pipes but he still only charged the low end of his quote. He was done in 30 minutes. Professional. We will use him again!

This guy is awesome. Discovered him via yelp and all the highlights are correct. Honest assessments (even if you don't want to hear it). Very competitive bids. He is a smaller company and he doesn't have fleets of people on standby, so you need to have some flexibility. If you can exercise some level of patience then the wait will be well worth it.

The job started out as a relatively simple replumb of a local area, but as I can imagine with most plumbing scenarios, they rarely follow the game plan and we had to do a more extensive replacement of about 8 feet of the main line. We're on a slab, so pretty invasive, but Tomo made it as painless as possible. Their attention to cleanliness was amazing considering how much material (dirt, concrete, old sewer line) was removed in order to complete this job.

While this job was more intensive than we had initially imagined, my family can now sleep well knowing that that the most critical part of the plumbing system has been completely repaired and will likely provide decades free of issues (there is of course the remaining part of the line, but the area addressed is by far the most sensitive/fragile area).

My hat is off to Tomo and his team for their professionalism and overall awesomeness.

So apparently word has gotten out that Tomo is awesome.. I hired him for a couple jobs last year when we bought our house and I thought I had found our ""go-to"" plumber. He was professional, honest, reasonable, and efficient. He didn't nickel and dime for travel time either. What else could a customer ask for? Well... the last time I called Tomo for help a couple months ago he referred me to another plumber. I respect that he was super busy and it was an easy job so I was okay with it. I was hopeful he would still be my go-to guy for other projects. Then last week I called him to inquire about modifying our washer dryer hookups.. he did not answer his phone AND his voicemail was full so I couldn't leave a message. He didn't respond to a text message i tried to send either. Tomo needs to learn how to manage his increase in business or else he will lose his loyal customers. We were hoping to hire him on for a bathroom remodel but will have to look elsewhere. He is a good plumber but not turning out to be the best businessman. Bummer! On the positive side I am learning a lot more about plumbing and doing a lot more on my own since we haven't had good luck finding a reliable plumber.

I called Tom when I noticed one of our pipes was leaking and he was able to stop on by that same day just a few hours after the initial call. He got everything fixed in under an hour. I also got some quotes for some other repairs. His prices are very reasonable and I plan on calling him later for the rest of the work I would like done.

My shower valve setup decided to take a tank after 50+ years of service (oh the joys of an old house). I called all around town and it seemed like there were no good plumbers out there/available to come over on short notice. By the way, this is a 1.5 bath house - so I was showering at the gym for a few days (yuck). So needless to say, this repair had to be done as soon as possible. I called Tom, he picked up his phone promptly, and scheduled an appointment the next day. He was very easy to work with and came in and handled the job beautifully. His pricing is honest and the quality of his work is spectacular. I felt very comfortable with him and knew right away that he knew exactly what he was doing. He finished the job, cleaned up, and even showed me how to assemble/disassemble my new shower valve setup so I could re-install the handle after I replace the tiles that I had to remove. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for an honest and efficient plumber. Thanks to Tom I get to enjoy my new shower tonight!

I called and set up a time for Tomo to come by to replace my water heater and he didn't show up. He didn't call or respond to my calls on that day. He did call back the next day and said he mixed up the dates. He was very unprofessional and I don't understand his high rating on Yelp.
