I do not recommend this plumbing & heating service. I had a boiler that was installed two years ago by another company that shut down and was told they had sold or given their equipment to Tommys. My boiler stopped working several days ago. I called Tommys and they came to take a look. First visit I was told there was a ""loose connection"" and that it was fixed. After they left, the boiler stopped working again. They came back again and told me they had missed another ""loose connection"" and fixed it. They left and it stopped working again. When they came back they told me the system was just heating the water tank first due to priority and was working again. After they left it stopped working. They came back the following day with a different employee. He looked at the boiler for a while and told me it was either the pressure of the gas supply or the gas valve had to be replaced. He told me to call the gas company to check the pressure. The gas company came later that evening and told me the pressure was fine and that none of the diagnostic claims of Tommys staff were true. I left another message for Tommys and never heard back. I have two young kids and they left us without heat and hot water and in general are hard to reach. You have to go through an answering service and call multiple times to get a response. So in summary, my experience with them has been that they are unable to diagnose issues with a boiler and do not appropriately prioritize the issue based on how hard they are to reach despite advertising themselves as a 24 hour service. I am very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money only to have resolution of this issue delayed several days. Maybe all of this is a one-off for them or my boiler has a particularly hard to diagnose issue. But at this time, I can only give them one star based on the quality of my experience in terms of competence and customer service/prioritization.

Tommy's Plumbing has come to my rescue on more than one occasion. They were fast to arrive and the problems they came to address were always resolved without needing to come back. What else can you ask for from your plumber than being fast and reliable. I would definitely recommend them.

My downstairs toilet was clogged. Plunger and google suggestions did not works. Called a bunch of plumbers Tommy's was the first to responded. It was a Saturday afternoon and he said they'd be there by 5. Texted him at 5:30 just to confirm they were coming. His response was nasty. Any other time but a Saturday night I would have cancelled. His son and nephew finally came. They were very pleasant to deal with. Took them 10-15 minutes to unclog it.
Charged $373! I called Tommy. Again he was nasty. Told me to pay it and never call him again. Nobody should call him.

I had an emergency with my air conditioning system during the heat wave. I called the technician that installed the system. He was unable to determine the exact cause of the problem. He told me that it could be the coil. It would have to be ordered and it would arrive within 4 to 6 weeks but there was no guarantee it would work. The other option was replacing the entire unit the next day. He strongly recommended the new unit since he was unsure the coil was the solution. The estimated cost was $2500 for the coil and $4800 for a new unit. I could not make a decision because the technician could not give me a diagnosis nor a guarantee. I called Tommy's plumbing and someone came out that afternoon. After some preliminary tests and an extensive examination of the unit, it was determined that there was a pinhole leak in the copper tubing going into compressor. He soldered the pin hole, charged the unit, and it's working like new. Tommy and his plumbers saved me a lot of money by not having to replace the coil or the unit. I highly recommend Tommy and his staff to anyone. They are knowledgeable, professional, courteous, reliable, and respectful of your home and property. They are a 5 star operation. Don M

I attempted to get a quote/schedule because we have problems with our hot water and plumbing. However, whoever is on the phone, the secretary or whoever was very rude on the phone...repeatedly saying she couldn't hear me, not even trying to understand, but kept on yelling instead, then hung up on me. The customer service is horrible! How are you going to be rude on the phone before even trying to help me? Ridiculous!

I had two Plumbing/HVAC emergencies in the last 3 months and, each time, Tommy and his guys were there within hours to fix it. Tommy and his team are highly skilled and professional. Problem started as drains slowing down, then backed up in basement. Tommy responded right away, ran a drain snake, determined the blockage to be in the lateral line past the curb in the street. Contacted the town, got conflicting information as to responsibility, after 2 days of very slow response from the town, Tommy came back, completed the job and saved the day! Now I'm going after the town for costs because they finally informed me that they are responsible from curb to curb! Thanks Tommy !

Had used them previously to snake a few drains. Found them to be clean, fast and effective. Scheduled them today for a bunch of jobs in the house but they ended up arriving just as the sewer main from house to street backed up. No idea what I would have done without them. They got the awful basement backup sorted and are doing the bigger repairs to the main in 4 days. My own experience has been totally positive; they are honest, professional, clean and terrific at explaining and demonstrating the issues that caused the problems. They are top of my list to call for any future issues.

Worst plumbers ever! Rude, poorly skilled and expensive. I could do a better job myself. Hired them because I was busy. But they did such a bad job and made a mess in my home.
