Woke up with a serious problem with our water heater aka boiler... water was everywhere... very very worried until James Decker a technician from Tommy's Rooter came to the rescue... not only did James fixed our problem he answered our questions on how come and why. Our toilet overflowed and nothing we did to stop the blockage worked. Our handyman had no success with a 6' auger. We gave Tommy Rooter a try. They dispatched James (same day). In addition to being very professional, personal and affable, he really impressed us with his determination to keep going to make sure all debris (Playtex wipes) was removed. After the first hour, he had pulled out 10 and the water was flowing. James wasn't satisfied. He kept at it for another hour and removed 6 more. We now have a new plumber-James at Tommy Rooter. P.S. even though the package states that Playtex wipes are safe to flush one at a time, don't believe it. They just don't dissolve.

James came to fix a clogged toilet. Not only did he unclog the toilet rather expediently, he was a very personable guy!! Easy to talk to with a sense of humor. He also had a love for animals which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. He was all business and got his job done, but James had ""personality"" in dealing with us. If it's possible to ask for James, ASK!!

Beware!! Make sure to read the bad reviews on here...they are accurate and depict an increasingly poor skill/service problem inherent at this company. A few years ago they had a decent crop of guys that were able to troubleshoot and repair, but now we have found this is no longer the case present day. We experienced technicians who are under-skilled and/or severely unmotivated (lazy, bad attitude, rude), one of whom made up customer issues to deflect his own deficiencies/inadequacies. His work was sloppy, half-assed and totally unacceptable! This company was assigned through a warranty company and we have filed a complaint with the warranty company. Their office (management) does not appear to be customer service oriented and was unavailable. They do not stand behind their work. BEWARE BEFORE YOU CALL THEM TO YOUR HOME.

We had the unhappy occurrence of having the water heater to our kitchen go out over this past Thanksgiving Day. We have 2 water heaters in our home - the other one went out just a few months ago - and we remembered that Rudy Valdez from Tommy Rooter Plumbing replaced that one so we asked for him again this time around.

Rudy was able to come to our home the very next day (Friday after Thanksgiving) to look at the problem. It turns out that we needed to replace the entire water heater, but we were leaving the next day so we set up a day/time when Rudy could come back and install it.

We've had a number of repairs over the years, and I have to say that Rudy is a top notch plumber. His installations (both of them) are extremely professional - clean, well organized and obviously installed with a great deal of care and attention.

If you are in need of a quality plumbing repair, I highly recommend Tommy Rooter and Rudy Valdez!

Our kitchen sink completely stopped up on a Friday night. The next morning our warranty company called Tommy Rooter and they came out in an hour! Wonderful, prompt service, and problem was solved in about half an hour. Jeff was the service tech. He was so efficient!

Our hot water heater went out so our home warranty called Tommy Rooter. They responded immediately and set up an appointment for next day. Their service guy, Rudy, came out on schedule and checked out the problem.

He was able to determine how old the heater was, and if it was worth it to replace parts. But at 15 years old, it was best to replace the whole thing. So that's what he did.

So now we have a brand new tank and hot water! Rudy did an excellent job of installing. He checked gas connection and water lines the cleaned up everything.

We had another company scheduled to come do repairs they went to the wrong house and told us we would have to reschedule after waiting all day. We called Tommy Rooter and they sent over Uriel within 2 hours. He told us what the problems were but he didn't have the part but promised to be back the next morning! He called and showed up bright and early the next day and did the repairs. He was courteous and professional and cleaned up after his repairs and answered all of our questions. We will definitely use this company again but we will make sure we request Uriel as our technician!!
