Tommy Rooter was referred by a plumber to repair a broken sewer main. No written estimate was provided prior to the work being provided but they gave a verbal estimate based on having to dig down to a certain depth to make the repairs. They ended up not having to do nearly as much work as originally thought yet still demanded full payment for work that wasn't done. The final work order was practically illegible and included very little information describing what work was actually performed. The plumber who referred them agreed that they overcharged. They are DISHONEST and NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I called Tommy Rooter Plumbing at 8 AM this morning to have some one come to unplug my kitchen sink drain. To my surprise, James Decker was at my front door at 9:30 AM. Now that is great service. He fixed the problem in short time, even though he had a struggle getting our clean out port open, it was rusted shut. We were very happy with his service. He was friendly and professional. I noticed a leak under my sink today and determined it was coming from the garbage disposal. I called our home warranty company and they gave our job to Tommy Rooter Plumbing. Before I even hung up with the warranty company, Tommy Rooter Plumbing called our phone and gave us a 1 hour ETA. Ralph arrived within the one hour window and diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. He replaced the garbage disposal and took away the broken one. From the time of the initial call to the time of the completion of the job was less than two hours. Ralph was professional and courteous. I highly recommend Ralph and this company!

One of their trucks decided to run a red light on Christmas Eve on Dillon and Palm in Desert Hot Springs. Almost slammed into the back of it and had to change lanes in the middle of the intersection. Definitely a company I will never use in the future.

Outstanding service! We have used this Company 3 times in the past month and everyone has been great. The servicemen arrive on time, quickly understand what needs to be done and get to work. They are very efficient, thorough and work very hard. James arrived to a list of 5 items that needed attention, he crossed out the items on the list, left notes and set the right expectations. We had a plumbing emergency in our rental home. Tommy's was the third place we called, and the only one who seemed interested in helping us on a Sunday with a clogged main line to the sewer. Their dispatcher, Beth, was so pleasant, and she was able to assure me that we would be their next stop, likely within an hour. She called me back when the plumber was on his way. The plumber himself, David, was also pleasant and efficient. Problem solved, and the price was right. They seem to do all plumbing jobs, and we plan to call them again (but hopefully not too soon!).
