Tom is the most honest contractor I have met besides my company Granite Construction, he is upfront on costs and stands behind his work. We have had him work on several issues at our home and he was very timely and came back to fix an issue on his dime. I cannot give this man enough stars, if you use him please pay your bill on time. He is the best!!

Asked Tom to remove his shoes when inside and got this response: ""I am not going to do that. I'm not going to take my clothes off to do the job, you're going to have to find someone else."" and he left. He should carry shoe covers for instances like this. I even suggested shoe covers and he said that wasn't worth his time. I've worked for a local company where homeowners/renters required this. It makes the job a little more difficult, but no one in the company felt any animosity towards the idea. Also, I felt like the comment about taking clothes off was very unprofessional.

Everyone raves about Tom Wake Plumbing. I didn't hire him as he would not install a water heater i purchased on my own. He was, in my opinion a bit rude, gruff and unaccommodating. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did an excellent job installing the water heater. Their install fee was much lower than the other plumbers i called and they didn't mind that id purchased my own water heater, which saved me allot of money. Tom Wake wasn't at all nice or friendly. He was a bit mean spirited about me having purchased my own water heater. Not everyone can afford the huge markup that plumbers put onto the products that they purchase for you. Come on Tom, give a homeowner a break!!

Tom came to install a new water heater, which he obtained from his supplier, when he said he would arrive. He not only installed the water heater, but recognized we had plastic pipe, which was not legal to have, and replaced the pipe and fittings to update everything. We are very pleased with his work, and would recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

Tom came to my house after a 6AM phone call. I had a broken pipe which he quickly diagnosed He helped me shut off the water and later that day the pipe was replaced and I was good to go. I would consider Tom again should I need plumbing issues.

Tom was at my house 20 minutes after I called him! He figured out that I had a hole in the pressure valve of one of our water lines within 10 minutes and got to work right away, the job was done within an hour and a half to two hours. He was also very friendly. Great experience, would definitely recommend him for your plumbing services.
