I reached out and left a voicemail. Tom replied that texting is the best way for him to communicate. The technician (not Tom) came a couple days later and addressed the issue with my slow-filling toilet by replacing the internal components and replacing the water valve. He was nice and efficient. However, the next day the flapper started to stick open after flushing (this had not happened before the repair). I texted Tom. He was unpleasant, said this was a separate issue not associated with the work they did, and I was trying to take advantage of him. The conversation went downhill from there. Suffice to say I will never use Tom the Plumber again based on his surly attitude and poor customer service.

Tom called me back within an hour or so of me leaving him a voicemail. When I explained my hot water heater went out at a rental property I own and my tenants were without hot water, he squeezed in an appointment for me the next day. He showed up right on time, worked promptly and was very friendly. His price was significantly less than the other two quotes I received. I had a great experience all around and would highly recommend his services!

I reached out to them left a voicemail. He replies by text stating this is the best way for him to communicate. Long story short, I give him my location (NW burbs). We agree on date and no call or show! I reach out and he reschedules appointment then states he has to pass on the job. Because he usually only would take the job if he charged more! Really? This scummy business practice should not exist and no one should support this sort of business practice.

They came to replace a water heater. They got here and starting moving things around and than they decided to charge us more money. We said no and they ran out of the house. A hour or so later we smell something burning. Come to find out they moved a heat lamp for a reptile on top of a speaker and nearly caused a fire in our basement... we messaged them to let them know what happened and he blamed us and said he takes no responsibility. I also found a dent in the wall that I know 100% was not there this morning. They also couldn't didn't the water valve. What kind of plumber can't find a water valve on the water heater??? Not professional at all. Seriously do not recommend. Terrible.

Pressure relief valve was leaking a small amount of water from my water heater. Called Tom to see if he could come look at it. He was busy until the following Monday but I was going to be gone so he scheduled for Friday afternoon. Tom's brother Casey came out and said it was the Expansion tank and changed it. Since I am new to this house he also answered a lot of my questions about other plumbing issues I am having. Great guy. Price for changing the tank was much less than I thought it would be. I will definitely Call them for any other plumbing work I may have.

Casey from Tom the Plumber was at my house within the hour after I called. He was able to fix the problem and told me that I just needed the switch instead of replacing my sump pump. Honest person doing honest job. Saved me some money too.

I had my toilet to tank screws replaced by him. By the looks of the pic, you can see it wasn't repaired correctly. I called twice, left messages and texts with absolutely no response.

He must choose to service certain customers well and not care about others.

Beware this was a simple job for any plumber.

Casey from Tom the Plumber was excellent! He was right on time and was super nice. He completed the job quickly - no more drip, drip, drip from the shower.
