I originally called Meyer Plumbing in Brooks. Did not realize that Meyer Plumbing was no longer in business and Tom Sondergeld Plumbing had taken over the business. This new company is extremely over priced! Service call $250 includes first hour of service. The second hour is $175. These prices do not include the use of any equipment. So to snake a drain between a washer machine and the A/C unit which is the same room with a drain cost $575. I HIGHLY recommend looking else where. I deal with many plumbing companies having multiple properties and this is the worst I have ever experienced! It's my fault for not realizing I was not dealing with Meyer Plumbing who was a very honest and reliable company. I can not say the same about Tom Sondergeld Plumbing.

Yes you are correct I was quoted the price of $250 for the service call which includes first hour. I was NEVER quoted there would be an equipment fee which was $150. I have never used a plumber where the equipment to snake out a drain was an additional charge.
Your Service Tech did come the same day but that was not my asking. Apparently you had openings. Checking around town the average cost is $102.61 - $125.63 per hour for drainage stop ups. Your cost of $287.50 per hour may be average to you but seems extremely high to me.

They were awesome all the way around! We needed plumbing moved to remove a wall. They were fast, reliable, and courteous. I couldn't of asked for more.

UPDATE: Once they saw the multiple reviews I put online I was contacted and they gave me a full refund! It is fantastic to see such pride in their business to reach out, gather the details, and give a full refund. Very professional, once the owner listened to my valid complaint it was not even a negotiation. For the fact the owner reached out to me directly I have to give this business 5 stars, hopefully this was a one off situation.

Horrible. Do not use this company. They came in, charged $150, and didn't get to the root cause of the reason I got a water bill that was $250 for one month. Literally they came in and did absolutely nothing except take my sink apart only to tell me the whole thing needed to be replaced. Enter a new company that came in today, got to the root cause of my issue after being very thorough in analyzing my home. They even got parts ordered to fix my sink rather than replace it.

This company performed a repair for me about 3-4 weeks ago and I found them to do satisfactory work. However, I am disappointed that they mark up their supplies SO MUCH. For instance, I needed a ten foot 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe which a retail customer could purchase for $7.00 at Lowe's, but likely this plumbing company can buy it for less. This company marked this item up OVER 600 PERCENT of what I could purchase it for, to FIFTY DOLLARS! I would expect a modest markup, maybe 25%, when I am also paying for a service call ($50) AND labor ($90 per hour for one person or understandably more for two persons). Maybe this high percentage markup is common in the plumbing industry but I am not happy about it and I will need to try a different plumbing company next time. I felt this company was NOT ""A-OK"" and deserved 2.5 stars instead of 3. But I felt that a 2 rating would be unfair to them. Hopefully this review will convince them to reduce their markup percentages and help make them a better company. Thank you.

These folks are fantastic!!! The lady answering the phones is focused and gets you to who you need to take care of whatever you have going on. AND of course they solved my problem promptly keeping me out of deep water.
