I have been a customer of toms plumbing for at least 20 years and would always have given 5-stars. My recent experience I downgraded slightly because of their refusal to give me an itemized bill for the parts and labor. In the past I never felt the need so never asked however this time the bill seemed excessive. I had hoped for an explanation but received none. To their benefit, they offered me a 10% reduction and I accepted it but still felt that I had paid too much. They could have at least separated the parts from labor.

I am so blessed to have found this plumbing company! The company was highly recommended by a friend, and I can now understand why.

I had plumbed my sink myself in 1997 and it was starting to back up after 14yr. I had traced the problem to the pipe between the wall and the clean-out. Turns out that I had not plumbed correctly. Hugo discussed the problem with me and then proceeded to replumb the sink which apparently had developed an air lock. I understood the issue after he carefully explained it to me. I also asked him to take a look under the house and see if any of the galvanized pipes were leaking as the house was built in 1954. He came up from under the house and said, ""I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you have a hole one of the lines"" and explained the location and issue. He then called to see if he could fix the hole right then--the area under the hole was damp, but not yet a puddle of water. He got permission to do the fix right then and they even sent support to help. He cut out the pipe and showed the hole and the ripping seam it us. He replaced 30 feet of pipe and recommended that we consider replacing the rest of the pipe coming from the laundry room in the near future. The price for all the work was amazingly reasonable.

This is the first review that I've ever written for Yelp, but I am so impressed with this company that I had to recommend them. I'll certainly recommend them to all my friends.

Extremely helpful!! I didn't even need to get the plumber out! My waste disposal unit was not working and I telephoned to arrange for a quote. The lady I spoke to asked if I had tried the reset button ( which I wasn't aware of ) and that totally fixed the problem. No charge. Extremely satisfied customer. Will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.
