We have used several different plumbers in the area since moving here 11 years ago and Tom Plumb is the best by far. We initially contacted Tom because of a neighborhood recommendation and outstanding Yelp reviews and were very happy we did! Tom is highly skilled, honest, efficient, and has reasonable rates. We have found Tom to be more responsive to our plumbing emergencies than other companies that carry teams of plumbers. We recently had a plumbing situation that required Tom to modify his schedule to be at our house early when other contractors arrived and he was incredibly accommodating. He is very careful to leave our house in better condition than when he arrived. We trust Tom and you should too - he is a great guy and the kind of home service professional we highly value.

Super thrilled with Tom's responsiveness and work. He answered, was clear about his schedule, fit me in later that day. I needed to buy a new faucet, which I ran out and did, and he came back two hours later to install. While he was here I got his quote on a few other projects and they seem very reasonable. Tom is awesome - his prices are transparent per hour, he schedules you, he gets in, does the job efficiently and effectively. I used Tom first for a busted kitchen sink pipe in the drywall, he identified the area, cut in, replaced the damaged pipe area and got out nice and quick. I was so pleased I used him for our studio bathroom remodel, he consulted on the laundry room/bath plumb, did the complete rough-in in a day or so, and it looked great. His quote was fair and he is honest and trustworthy. I will use no one else in the future but Tom. His niche market adds to how responsible and pleasant he is to work with...he serves just north county coastal, so he's not stretching himself to RB or La Mesa to fix some stupid leaky faucet. Hence he serves us locally in Encinitas and serves us well. Cheers to Tom!

Late yesterday afternoon walked out to the garage to find lots of water dripping from the bottom of hot water tank...called Tom Plumb and left a voice message. He called back within minutes to say he was on a job but gave me instructions over the phone to shut off water heater gas line and water line and to drain the tank. He offered to pick up a new tank from his supplier just before they closed for the day and come over that evening but we said it wasn't a true emergency could he just get it done the next day? Would 7am be ok, said Tom? Well he was at the house precisely at that time with a new water heater, installed and working in less than a hour.

This is the third or fourth time we've used Tom and he's always a delight to deal with, truly professional and extremely fair prices. There are other good, local plumbers in our area but Tom is always our first call. Tom is popular for a reason! He can be booked up but is worth the wait and if you really have an emergency, I'm sure he'll do everything possible to help. Take the few one star reviews with a grain of salt, truly not representative of our dealings with Tom Parkinson aka ""Tom Plumb"".

We found a leak on floor by toilet in guest bathroom on Memorial Day. Called Tom Plumb Plumbing on Memorial Day and Tom answered. He scheduled an appointment for the next day. He quickly removed the toilet and found a cracked flange face on an offset flange to which the toilet in bolted. This toilet was installed a few years ago by a different plumbing service which will not be named. They used an oversize gasket as a shim to hide the cracked flange.

Tom had to order a new offset flange from his supplier and was back the next day with all parts needed. This was a fairly complicated repair which was handled in a most professional manner. Tom and his assistant checked a few other plumbing issues and corrected them.

My wife and I were most impressed with Tom. He is very polite, knowledgeable and fixed our problem in a very timely manner.

We moved here from Texas in 2012 and are delighted to have found Tom Plumb Plumbing through Yelp. We highly recommend Tom.
