Porsha R.I'm pissed that I even had to give them 1 star. A man named Dan Isbell came into my business, and called us dead beats. He cussed at us and called us names. He came and ""fixed"" our air conditioning, we have PROOF that they did not fix our air conditioning. It was missing screws that were all over the floor and the PROFESSIONALS we hired after him told us there wasn't one thing fixed up there. They wrote a list of things that were still broken on it. This business is horribly ran. The people are so incredibly mean and unprofessional. I am still in shock from being called names from a business owner!!! These are horrible people. I just called them, It is Thursday August 25th at 12:23pm, and when I started to talk they called me a ""dumb bitch"" and hung up on me.
Tom M.Isbell installed our new furnace and A/C. The price was very reasonable, and the installation went well. We have had to have the A/C unit serviced twice, but both times were not due to installation or mechanical problems. The service calls were quick, although we did have to wait until the next morning for a service call during the summer. It was not as bad as it may have seemed, as the service tech arrived promptly first thing in the morning. Overall, satisfied with Isbell and recommend them.
I do not recommend using this company for any work in your home. Dan Isbell, is not a fair business man. We were over charged and charged for work that was not done. First, the faucet that was put in is crooked in our sink, quite obviously poor workmanship. Secondly, we were charged labor for two men while one of them sat in the van on his phone. Also, they were unprepared for the job. He didn't bring any tools in with him, he asked if we had a screw driver for the sink!?! Upon calling and making the appointment for them to come to our home we told them of the work we would like done, including an inspection and service of our boiler heating unit. When he ""inspected"" it, he simply looked it over with a flashlight and said looks good. He did not bring the oil with him to grease the pumps and had to make a trip into town to get it, which we were charged for plus the labor clock that was still ticking for two men. The second man came in when they returned and I believe they acted suspiciously in my home, like he was trying to be alone or wander the house. When they realized I was not leaving their person, they finished rather quickly. I definitely felt uncomfortable with them in my house. After they left, I took a closer look at the invoice. It stated that they had cleaned my boiler, which they did not do. They didn't break down the labor price or state the 'material"" I was charged for. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received and do not believe they are running a fair business. Please do not trust them into your home or allow them to work for you, you will most likely regret it....I do.
