I'm very disappointed in this company, we have been dealing with them since December 2021. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They contract their work out to different sources, communication was not good. I wish they would of told us we were being charged holiday hours on a Saturday, before they did the work and sent a bill indicating we were charged holiday hours.

Set multiple appointments and no one ever showed up. When the technician did finally show up. He was rude and condescending. Work truck looked like it had seen better days. Super unprofessional.

I requested a estimate on several jobs for my home. I was looking for a handyman mostly. I called Told Plumbing and they sent someone out about a week later. The guy came to my home and was friendly but reluctant to tell me much about what he thought it would cost to get the different jobs done but he did tell me it's at least $105.00 per hour. I said lets try one of the smaller jobs first which we both thought would be under $1850.00. I asked him to give me an estimate in writing or in an email and let's get started. He left and told me someone from the office would schedule it. It's 3 weeks later and there is no estimate on the smaller job or the bigger one's (I estimated they would be over $75,000+). The office never called back. I know right now these companies can pick whatever jobs they want but talk about terrible service. I won't be using them for anything.

Thank goodness for Told Plumbing. Nothing worse than a cold shower at 6 am before work. Well, that was yesterday. Isaac came out after hours to help us. He did the best he could with the old unit in our new place, but to no avail, the thing was too far gone. Flash forward to today, Isaac was back by 12:30pm with his assistant Ron. The two of them had the old unit out, the new one in in about an hour, all connected, and the entire work area was clean and back to normal. They even carted off the old unit. And they did all this to the serenade of three barking dogs without missing a beat. I have their magnet front and center on the fridge should any other plumbing issues arise. If you have not guessed by now, yes, I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Ask for Isaac!!!!

Final bill was more than the original estimate. Extremely poor communication throughout the entire process. Service was poor. Overall, a very bad experience. And we generally are pretty understanding, but this was just lack of professionalism.

We use Told Plumbing for their Handyman services. Several times we've had Marlin come out and he can do everything! He explains things well and will tell you what could be done before hand to save you money. I've never had a bad job done by them. I think the prices are very reasonable as well.

I'm a business owner and have several rental properties in Utah county and genuinely like to give companies a chance. There is a difference between building a brand and transactional business building. Unfortunately, I was a transaction recently with Told. Sent them out to a unit and perform any necessary repairs. I received a bill for over $130 for ""caulked around faucet"". If I were in town I would have gone to Home Depot and spent $5 on a tube of caulk.... I understand a service fee, but I also understand how to build a brand and customer loyalty..... this is not it.

$1000 an hour for weekend emergencies? When I spoke to the fellow on the phone he gave me an estimate for the job I described as $250. I thought that was steep, but the seal on the toilet had given way and the little valve to turn off water to the toilet was not working and started leaking when I tried to turn it off; I was desperate to get it fixed quick as we live in the basement and there is only the one toilet. Anyway, after he started working he asked me if I was planning to change the seal on the toilet myself. I said I had been planning on it, but then called him when the valve started leaking as well. That's when he told me he would charge me an additional $250 for that problem. When I protested he just said that was the emergency rate. So, for a simple change of the valve that took ten minutes (he was in and out of the house in less than 15) I got charged $250 and didn't even get the main problem fixed (the toilet seal). That works out to $1000 an hour, which even for emergencies is ludicrous.

I replaced our water heater 8 years ago. I bought one at Lowes and installed it myself. (I hate paying people to do stuff I can do.) It had a 12 year factory warranty.
It sprung a leak this week so I called Whirlpool about the warranty and they wouldn't go past the fact I'm not a licensed plumber. So I called Told Plumbing and told them I just wanted a new one installed, since I'm now a bit handicapped can't haul water heaters around any more.
The guy that does the work called me and asked me about the brand/warranty and where I got it. When he got here, he said he'd take care of it. He ripped it out, hauled it down to Lowes, and got them to replace it for free with a newer model! He ended up only charging me for the installation which was less than the cost of the new water heater itself. Woot! THAT is what I call customer service! The guy's name is ""JP""

We called and asked them to come run a gas line. They said they would give us an estimate that day. They did come that day and said he would email an estimate that afternoon. It did not come. I called the next day and the receptionist said she would find it on his computer and call us right back. No call. Two days later I called again and explained this was our third attempt to get the estimate. She said she would call us right back with the estimate. Still nothing two days later. We will be looking for a different plumber who is honest enough to do what they say they will do. Don't waste your time with this outfit.
