Todd Young Plumbing did the plumbing work on a new house we bought 3 years ago. We recently had a licensed plumber check a leak near the hot water heater. A valve had broken off the line leading to an outside spigot. While looking at that, he noticed the hot water heaters and told us that not only was the installation very shoddy, but also it was not up to code. We've had problems with both outside spigots and leaky faucets in the house. My opinion is that Todd Young Plumbing probably had no idea what they were doing and we're now paying for all kinds of repairs resulting from their poor work. I would not call them for anything, ever!

I recently bought a home and Todd Young Plumbing was responsible for the plumbing and was the holder of our warranty for the plumbing. They somehow managed to hook the water heater up to the refrigerator line, making the water that came from the fridge extremely hot. When they came to fix it, it took them cutting 6 holes in our dry wall, including two holes in the wall and ceiling of our kitchen, to find the right connection to replace. Let me remind you that these are the people who INSTALLED the piece. This resulted in 4 straight weeks of repair work to fix the holes in the sheet rock and insulation. Last week, I noticed a small amount of water pooling at the bottom of the water heater. A plumber came out, examined the water heater, and said that we need to replace it (this water heater is 3 months old). Shortly after he left the house, we found that the hot water and the showers and tubs in the house weren't working, and a large amount of steaming hot water was gushing from the piece in the water heater that he had been inspecting. This had to have been directly caused by whatever the plumber had done while inspecting the water heater. Admittedly, I was angry, and left a less than polite message on their emergency answering service. I got a call TWO HOURS LATER, where I was lectured for my """"attitude"""", and then abruptly hung up on when I insisted that they come fix the problem that they made while inspecting the water heater. These people have no clue what they're doing, they have horrible customer service, and they have no business working on anyone's plumbing. Avoid them at all costs.

Wouldn't use them simply because of their poor manners. Got behind them on the interstate and both driver and passenger threw various things out the windows. The driver threw a liquid substance of some sort that splattered on my car. When you drive a vehicle with your business name on the side, you represent your business at all times. Lost a customer before you even had one.

The receptionist is very rude. She doesn't fully listen before answering questions. She will lie and say Todd isn't in. She's very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. They never answer the phone and when it is answered they aren't helpful at all. Not worth the money!

Todd Young Plumbing does not stand by their work. The men that did the quote and the work were very polite, but Todd Young was very rude when we called with a problem. They installed pipe so we could move our nearly 100 year old claw foot tub to another bathroom. They installed the wrong size drain pipe. When we called about the problem, we were told that they installed the correct pipe and could not afford to send someone to check it out. I will have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. I will NEVER call them for a plumbing job again AND I do not recommend them. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

Todd Young Plumbing ranked only two stars with me because their customer service sucks!. I phoned them on a Saturday and got a voicemail that didn't have a greeting. I didn't have an emergency so leaving a message was ok. Since there wasn't a greeting I wasn't sure if I initially left my call back info on the correct answering machine so I called back a second time about an hour later. The young lady whom answered the phone interrupts me telling her who I was with """"I HEARD YOUR MESSAGE WE ARENT OPEN ON WEEKENDS SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU MONDAY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT"""". Monday 3pm comes and I haven't rec'd a call so I call them back. The same young lady answers and cuts me off again with """" WE ARE HEADED TO YOU NOW"""". After I let her know there isn't anyone at my home because know one called me to tell me they would be out she gets a worse attitude and puts me on hold. I tried to explain when she came back that I could wait til later in the week I just wanted to schedule something. She pushes the next morning at 8am on me. I have already told her after 3pm works better for me. Then she puts me back on hold and puts TODD YOUNG on the line. HE IS RUDE FROM THE START!!! He tells me once again they are in route to me after I just told the young lady know one was at my home. Then he tries the next morning at 8am. I tell him I am only available after 3pm and he says """"ITS AFTER 3PM NOW AND WE ARE TRYING TO COME OUT"""". Then he says """"WELL TOMORROW AT 3."""" If this service wasn't covered by the builder warranty on the home I just purchased I wouldn't have called them back. I would've paid for my service from someone else. I HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING FOR GOOD SERVICE! When I arrived to my home the tech was already in the yard. It wasn't after 3 and I was very thankful. HE WAS GREAT!!! VERY NICE!!!! COMPLETED THE REPAIR IN A MATTER OF MINUTES!!! once he finished I asked some general maintenance question he was able to answer, While standing his phone rings its Todd. I clearly hear him ask about my attitude. HOW WAS I ACTING. My mouth was on the floor I guess Todd Young. All in All my problem was fixed if I have any other issues under my warranty period ill pray about calling them. BUT I WILL NOT USE OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. ID RATHER PAY!!!!!!
