Francesco is awesome. He came by to give me a free estimate and provided a lot of expert advice upon assessing the situation. He gave me an estimate right away. He seems like an honest guy and his estimate was reasonable. I also liked how we called to follow up when I first sent him an email over his website.

We called many plumbers and Toce Plumbing was the only one to call us back and fit us in his schedule. He was really a gem and went through the whole house with my husband (not just where we had a problem ie husband tried to fix a leak that went really bad). He came back the next day and fixed all of our issues. Definitely recommend and will be callling back if we have any plumbing needs in the future. (This is our second plumber we have used since moving to Oakland and by far he was the best)

Francesco is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I manage a restaurant in Uptown Oakland and we were constantly having to call plumbers to unclog toilets, fix issues of flushing or water coming out from the bottom. None of the plumbers we've called got down to the root cause of what was the issue. Francesco was the only person to remove the toilets and give an analysis of what is going on.

Turns out the toilets were installed poorly and incorrectly. I have yet to have any issues (which I usually do after someone else has attempted to fix the toilets) He does great work and is easily reachable! Great with communication.

Just purchased our first home and really needed to upgrade the gas lines to install a couple of appliances and add a seismic auto shutoff on the meter. After getting estimates from 4 different plumbers, no one came close to Francesco. Not just in price but also in quality of the work and timeliness. Francesco was prompt, courteous and helped us understand what needed to be done to prepare for the new appliances and any future additions. When the plumbing inspector stoped by to sign off on the job, he complimented the work that was done and assured us that we had hired the right guy for the job. I am glad we worked with Francesco and will definitely contact him for any future plumbing needs.

After reading a couple of the Yelp reviews and seeing the photo of the friendly-faced plumber, I messaged Francesco with a couple questions about his availability and rates and he was very helpful and responsive. After three back and forth messages through Yelp, I didn't end up hiring him. The next morning he sent me a message chastising me for being rude because I didn't confirm with him that I wasn't going to hire him. As I always do when seeking this type of service, I contacted several plumbers via the Yelp messaging service and I ended up hiring a different plumber whose availability worked better for me. I don't agree that I need to confirm my hiring decision with each of the plumbers that I didn't hire. No appointment was set, no agreement existed. This behavior is similar in my opinion to road rage, Francesco is out to correct our manners one non-customer at a time. Again, he seems like a really nice guy based on his reviews and the preliminary messaging so I'm adding a star. I'm also a stickler for proper manners, so I did apologize to Francesco for offending him. I'm sure you'll be happy if you hire him, just but be sure to mind your manners.
