After returning home from a trip, we discovered our washing machine shut off valve had been leaking for quite a while. The water started to spray out so we decided to look around for a plumber. After calling TNH Plumbing, they responded promptly and sent a plumber out to evaluate the problem. Chad was able to purchase the needed materials and complete the job today even though he was booked solid. We really appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, and kindness in fitting us into his busy schedule. For all our future plumbing needs, you can be sure that we will call TNH Plumbing. On Thursday, I called to schedule an appointment for Friday to have my leaking main water line shut-off valve replaced with a ball valve. This was the second appointment I had to schedule with a plumber after the first plumber I hired cancelled on me on Thursday. So, for the second time in two days, I called the Board of Water Supply to shut off my water. The lady I spoke with at TNH, whom I'll admit was personable, indicated that the plumber would come to my house between 1:00 and 1:30 on Friday. She also mentioned that if I dug up the concrete valve housing, it would save the plumber time and lower my cost (since they charge by the hour). She also scheduled the appointment at the aforementioned time since she expected it would take 2 hours and their plumbers are off the clock at 3:30. So on Thursday after work I spent an hour digging up the concrete valve cover and the area around the pipe, exposing both the valve and the top of the pipe. I'll admit that the plumber would still need to dig about 2 inches more down around the pipe to complete the job. On Friday, my fiance who was waiting for the plumber called me at 1:30 and still no plumber there. 2:00 and still the same story. At 2:30 and still no plumber, I called the lady I previously spoke with and she said ""He's not there?"" She put me on hold and called the plumber who told her that he was on his way. Sure enough he arrived at 2:34, over an hour later on the high end of the estimated time he was supposed to be there. Fiance indicated that the guy takes his time walking around.... I guess I would too if I charged by the hour. He looks at the valve and tells my fiance that he will need to reschedule as the project would take longer than an hour and he gets off at 3:30. Fiance tells me and I was livid! Two different plumbers in two days cancel, meanwhile I am the one having to schedule with Board of Water Supply to turn my water on and off..... and all I'm thinking is that I'll have to do this a third time. I just can't believe that they could just leave me high and dry (I mean wet), with no concern that my valve would continue to leak through the weekend until they were able to come back on Monday. Not gonna happen! Cancelled the service told my fiance to tell the guy to leave.... although his boss had already told him to leave as well. I also can't believe that they have a hard and fast rule to get off the clock at 3:30. You would think that they would at least give you the option to pay extra to finish the job. Here is the icing on the cake. I end up calling about 5 different plumbers who are too busy and not available until Sunday, or don't work on the weekend altogether. So called the Board of Water Supply to have the guy come back out and turn my water on. My fiance mentions to him our problems and he immediately provides the number for a plumber friend. The plumber comes out at 4:30 with his mud gun ready to work, and finishes the job in 45 minutes. AND charges my $20 less than what TNH quoted me. Hmmmm.... it is funny how one plumber says it will take more than an hour to complete the job, while the rescue plumber finishes the job in 45 minutes. Me thinks not.

Five Star Service from Chad at TNH Plumbing! We called them for a toilet repair job & they sent Chad who was very knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to talk to. After he fixed the toilet, we asked him if he had additional time to take a look at a shower valve that was malfunctioning; as we had the replacement part; but not the expertise to fix it. He replaced the shower valve with no problem and it only took an extra 20 to 30 minutes or so to do it. We were very appreciative of his service. We would definitely recommend him and TNH for future plumbing repair jobs.

I rarely write reviews but this company deserved 5 stars each of the 5 times I have used them. From the receptionist to Chad, the plumber I have used the most. Very knowledgeable and efficient. He never overcharges and does excellent work. Trust these folks, I called 5 other companies and none would have done the job in a day and all gave higher estimates.

Called up a nearby plumber based on a 5 star review here on Yelp, and they said they could come in the next day. Mind you, this was at noon and no less then an hour later I got a call from Russ (the plumber who would be coming over) and he asked if it would be okay if he could come over now (assuming I was home) and I said, ""Yes!! The sooner the better."" Less than 30 minutes later Russ arrived and I showed him the toilet and told him about what we had been experiencing with it. Since Russ and I discovered that the water shut-off valve wasn't working, I decided to give him the go ahead to replace everything since it all needed replacing. Once he started the job I left him alone and he did his job quickly and perfectly. Replaced practically everything in and/or connected to our toilet tank, and he did it all in under 20 minutes. Pretty impressive. I double checked all the surrounding plumbers/plumber services to see if what I was ultimately charged with was a fair price. It seems that most plumbing services that would have had to work on a running toilet and replace everything would charge $96-$100+ for the labor in the first hour (which is all the time it should take, or less) and that the parts would be around $100 in total by themselves. Our total came out to $167.50. So $98 for labor and $69.50 for parts. Fair priced and got the job done quickly. I will definitely be calling TNH the next time I have plumbing issues. Business doesn't return calls, left 3 messages to have them call me back. Unacceptable.. glad it wasn't an emergency! They used to be good , now they don't return calls and there business hours apparently fluctuate....

I usually am terrified of calling plumbers...You never know if you're going to get taken to the cleaners, or what...i had a bad experience with the company who's slogan is ""If you can see Diamond Head..."" Anyway, my water heater died, and I needed it to replace it that day. I called TNH, and they were able to accommodate me the same afternoon. ""Russ"" was the name of the plumber who was dispatched, and he did a great job. He answered the questions that I had about water heaters, and which ones to avoid. He helped me hoist the old one onto my truck for disposal. I got the invoice the next day and was nicely surprised. No hidden charges, the time charged was right on the money. Relief. 5-Star rating for TNH Plumbing. Don't hesitate to call them, they are great!

*AWESOME*!! these guys are the best!! the water filter blew out so had no water coming into the house. called these guys based on YELP reviews and got a 1/2 -1 hour window to come out to the house. the plumber showed up within the half hour, did the job efficiently and quickly. i will definitely call these guys again if i need plumbing done. happy happy happy.

I should have wrote this sooner but anyways... I had to use them twice already, and both times Russel came exactly at the appt time. Nothing better then punctuality! Russel is a quiet guy but is very knowledgeable and professional. I had to cut out my existing shower valve assembly from the back, but that entailed draining and moving the water heater, cutting out the wall and cutting the pipes in the right places because of the location of the valve and space/construction issues. Needless to say, he got this all done in about 3.5 hours which was perfect because I had to shutoff the water to the entire complex. He even put in my own shutoff valve in my unit in case I had to shutoff water to my apartment again. Would recommend to anyone needing a reliable plumber.

Always frustrating when you don't have a plumber and need to search out someone for a plumbing problem. I called TNH Plumbing as I had seen my neighbor use them. Best call I could have made. Now I have a plumber and one I would highly recommend to anyone needing one! I called to get a repair to a toilet that had a slight slow leak at the base. The service was excellent and Chad came to see me that same morning. Friendly and very professional. Found a problem that I had not expected, but was able to fix everything. Didn't even mind me looking over his shoulder and he taught me a few things about plumbing. When I received the invoice from TNH I was very pleased with the fairness of the pricing. Great service at a fair price. I'd definitely recommend TNH and Chad in particular!
