I should have wrote this sooner but anyways... I had to use them twice already, and both times Russel came exactly at the appt time. Nothing better then punctuality! Russel is a quiet guy but is very knowledgeable and professional. I had to cut out my existing shower valve assembly from the back, but that entailed draining and moving the water heater, cutting out the wall and cutting the pipes in the right places because of the location of the valve and space/construction issues. Needless to say, he got this all done in about 3.5 hours which was perfect because I had to shutoff the water to the entire complex. He even put in my own shutoff valve in my unit in case I had to shutoff water to my apartment again. Would recommend to anyone needing a reliable plumber.

On Thursday, I called to schedule an appointment for Friday to have my leaking main water line shut-off valve replaced with a ball valve. This was the second appointment I had to schedule with a plumber after the first plumber I hired cancelled on me on Thursday. So, for the second time in two days, I called the Board of Water Supply to shut off my water. The lady I spoke with at TNH, whom I'll admit was personable, indicated that the plumber would come to my house between 1:00 and 1:30 on Friday. She also mentioned that if I dug up the concrete valve housing, it would save the plumber time and lower my cost (since they charge by the hour). She also scheduled the appointment at the aforementioned time since she expected it would take 2 hours and their plumbers are off the clock at 3:30. So on Thursday after work I spent an hour digging up the concrete valve cover and the area around the pipe, exposing both the valve and the top of the pipe. I'll admit that the plumber would still need to dig about 2 inches more down around the pipe to complete the job. On Friday, my fiance who was waiting for the plumber called me at 1:30 and still no plumber there. 2:00 and still the same story. At 2:30 and still no plumber, I called the lady I previously spoke with and she said ""He's not there?"" She put me on hold and called the plumber who told her that he was on his way. Sure enough he arrived at 2:34, over an hour later on the high end of the estimated time he was supposed to be there. Fiance indicated that the guy takes his time walking around.... I guess I would too if I charged by the hour. He looks at the valve and tells my fiance that he will need to reschedule as the project would take longer than an hour and he gets off at 3:30. Fiance tells me and I was livid! Two different plumbers in two days cancel, meanwhile I am the one having to schedule with Board of Water Supply to turn my water on and off..... and all I'm thinking is that I'll have to do this a third time. I just can't believe that they could just leave me high and dry (I mean wet), with no concern that my valve would continue to leak through the weekend until they were able to come back on Monday. Not gonna happen! Cancelled the service told my fiance to tell the guy to leave.... although his boss had already told him to leave as well. I also can't believe that they have a hard and fast rule to get off the clock at 3:30. You would think that they would at least give you the option to pay extra to finish the job. Here is the icing on the cake. I end up calling about 5 different plumbers who are too busy and not available until Sunday, or don't work on the weekend altogether. So called the Board of Water Supply to have the guy come back out and turn my water on. My fiance mentions to him our problems and he immediately provides the number for a plumber friend. The plumber comes out at 4:30 with his mud gun ready to work, and finishes the job in 45 minutes. AND charges my $20 less than what TNH quoted me. Hmmmm.... it is funny how one plumber says it will take more than an hour to complete the job, while the rescue plumber finishes the job in 45 minutes. Me thinks not.

Overall service from the time we called was great. Prompt, good customer service, polite, cleaned up after himself, knowledgeable (put two wax toilet rings due to an uneven floor that solved the problem with our leakage). I would highly recommend their services.

I went with TNH after trying numerous times to set up an appointment with Clean Sewer Lines to replace my leaking water heater. A TNH operator picked up the phone quickly and was willing to send a plumber out that afternoon. While CSL initially quoted me over $1000 for the replacement, TNH only charged $97 for each hour of labor plus material costs (total~$750). The plumber they sent was professional, wasted no time on the site and cleaned up the area when he was done. Honest professionals that got the job done on time and to standard, would recommend them to anyone on the island.

I called this morning to get a new water heater installed since mine sprung a leak last night. They said they were coming at 1 p.m. and they showed up at EXACTLY 1 p.m.!! The plumber Russell was very knowledgable and did a EXCELLENT job. I am, so pleased I found these YELP reviews and used them. In addition to my home,I have 2 rental properties,and it is a good feeling to have found a good plumber. They will be the only plumber I will use from here on out. Thanks TNH!!

Picked TNH based off the other Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Called in the AM and they sent a plumber out in the AM. Not only did the plumber fix the issue, he took the time to explain how I could fix it in the future. Go with these guys!!!

I have used this company twice in the last two years, the second time got to deal with Xena over the phone she is very nice and helpful and follows up with you, she is very proffesional and yet seems like an old friend. I have been very fortunate to have plumber Russell Oyama both times, he is a decent and super nice person. Russell is a very skilled, honest, plumber. He does not dilly dally he finishes faster than other plumbers. And he is very honest with his suggestions. I feel that Russell is a great asset to TNH, I will recommend Russell and TNH to everyone that needs plumbing service. As a home owner for many years and landlord I have had my fair share of plumbers, and I can tell you not all are honest and they will get you on the time and try to sell you things you dont need. I also purchased my badger five disposal from TNH, because theirs was cheaper than lowes and home depot I called, and T N H had a better price. As long as Russell is there I will continue to use TNH plumbing and refer them to people who need good decent plumbers. Thank you Russell for the beautiful job done on my new sink I know it wasnt easy to replace the almost twenty year old sink, and to use the same counter, but you did a fantastic super beautiful job. Thank you, for money well spent. Oh also two years ago he replaced my toilet and I think he did it in less than an hour and that toilet was almost eighteen years old.
