TMI is truly an amazing company. I have their VIP plan and get both my AC and furnace serviced with them annually. I've had their plan for most my tenure in quad cities so dating to around May 2020. Yesterday I heard a loud thumb and my AC unit which is from 2006 and it was working inefficiently. I became very scared because new units are definitely an unforecasted cost. Same day TMI came out and within a matter of less than two hours; my technician was Travis. He usually services my home so I was happy to have him; although I think all their technicians are great. He did a through explanation of what the issue was explained it was covered. Additionally he showed me what he was doing and why which really helps add value. My home is now maintaining the 72 desired degrees. TMI is truly amazing and I sincerely thank Travis.

Very prompt and fixed wiring issue that a mouse had chewed thru in 45 minutes. Problem is the expense! We actually called Springmeier who we had used for repairs for years. TMI answered explaining he had retired. It was 69 to come look at it and give estimate. We were used to the amount to look at it and if we said go ahead and fix it was the first hour of repair even if it took 10 minutes. But like I said he fixed it in 45 minutes but it was the 69 plus 115 for first hour. So the 45 minutes of work costs 184 no parts used. He did good work but won't use them again cause of price. My sister was getting work done and was gonna them but found a much more reasonable price at iowa Illinois Appliance repair. Wished I would have shopped around especially at Covid19 time. Lesson learned. God Bless

Last year they installed my new Luxeaire furnace and air conditioner. I am in heaven! I have a log home and my old unit could only get my house to 78 degrees, with the second floor being 10 to 15 degrees hotter. My new unit works beautifully and in one hour (in August) had the house at 70 degrees! Does a great job in the cold weather too!! Kept the work area clean and they made sure they didn't track dirt in while they were hauling the units in and out. Totally recommend this company!

I will never use TMI again. I paid for their insurance plan for about 5years, which was a gimmic. When it came down to use it on my air conditioner, nothing was covered, and they would only give us a 25% discount. We decided to go with another company and bought a new unit. I wasn't upset with the fact that we had to buy a new air conditioner, I was upset with the fact that I felt completely taken advantage of.

Got a new furnace from them, very satisfied! Got what we wanted at a good price and great warranty. They were here on time, installed it and cleaned up everything. Very satisfied!

We had been having troubles with pilot light going out on our 6 year old water heater when it finally gave up the ghost on Sun June 3rd. I called TMI Tues June 5th and they came out the next day to diagnose and possibly repair. Control knob was bad. Tech said it was ""obsolete"" and had to order the part. Said it would be a week to get the part and would call to make appt when it came in. Estimate was $490!! Then he tried to sell me one of their water heaters for over $1000. Went with waiting for part. 8 days later, I called to check status of part. The girl who answered the phone said the approx delivery date for the part was Fri Jun 15th. When I inquired what was taking the part so long (1.5 weeks), she got snotty and acted like she could care less and offered no help in expediting anything. It is now Jun 18th and still no call from these people!!! Apparently they could care less about a customer who has been without hot water for 16 days!!! I purchased a 50 gal water heater from Home Depot for $628 and got it installed today for $100.

These people are TERRIBLE!! No status update or explanation as to why they couldn't overnight this part. Per sears parts direct, the part cost is $95 and standard delivery is 7-8 days, so they were price gouging the h&ll out of me! And obsolete my butt...Sears still sells this water heater, which is an AO Smith water heater!!!!!!

I will never call these money mongers again!

They've been trying to fix the dampers at the Moline YMCA for two weeks now & it's still not working right. The weight room is at least 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the facility. Hopefully they send out someone competent soon!

Just want to say thumbs up to the tmi guy that came this morning to fix my dryer !! He was very professional and polite, fixed my dryer it needed a belt, dressed in uniform looked very professional !! I will use tmi only if something goes wrong !!! There insurance program is well worth its money I pay $9 a month that covers washer and dryer if anything goes wrong !!! If I didn't have the insurance would have been $200 so once again thumbs up TMI !!! The insurance has already paid for its self !!! Big thanks

We had a complete furnace and AC removed and a new set installed on 8/7/17. The two installers ( Greg and T.J.) were fantastic. They are one of the best teams I have ever had the privilege to witness performing their work. They were very friendly and professional. They never stopped working except for a quick lunch then right back to work. They maintained a clean work area and their cleanup was great. They are a great example of the type of employees that work for TMI.
