Fixed a door frame in an antique-y house that had been hastily opened after the doorknob broke in the middle of the night. He replied to my quote request incredibly quick on New Years morning and was willing to help get it fixed by the afternoon.

Reattached the door trim, replaced the broken knob/lock, realigned the door, and offered to repaint (though I didn't have any paint on hand or the time to go get some). Cleaned up after the work.

Door functions better than it did before and the root cause (the broken knob) for all this headache was fixed at a reasonable rate. I think once it's repainted it won't look much worse for wear. Great communication and fantastic work.

I needed someone to fix a leaky shower door last minute and he was the only one who responded the first thing in the morning. He came for an estimate and explained what needs to be done in a way I could understand. Fixed all the issues in a couple of hours (including the parts shopping) for a reasonable price.
