If I could give this company 10 stars I would! I was quoted a price for a new water heater and an hourly rate for an estimate on replacing a very old basement toilet that other plumbing companies said was too difficult and expensive to repair or replace. I ended up shelving this project for several years after at least 3 companies told me this, even though it would have been a real convenience to have a basement toilet. Brad from TLC replaced the water heater, replaced the toilet with a brand new one, and even fixed a very old and non-standard kitchen faucet that wouldn't run hot water. In other words, he worked miracles! He took on projects that no one else would with a great attitude and not once saying it couldn't be done. The man doesn't know the meaning of the word ""can't!"" He worked hard for hours, was very honest and pleasant to work with, and did an overall fantastic job. He even spelled out everything he did on the receipt, in detail. A lot of other companies do not provide a detailed record of the work done. If you need plumbing, construction, etc. HIRE BRAD AT TLC!

called TLC due to having a problem with some water in basement of a house I purchased. They can out and used router and camera to find lots of sand in drain tile. Cost was $1,600. Then next step is where they completely dropped the ball. They were suppose to give me quotes on a couple options to fix. After me repeat calling them to move it forward with no response, finally I talked to Cindy only to tell me I would be better getting a company like Perma Seal. Really! Don't use this company!

I wish I could recommend this business, but I'm hesitant. ""Do business with them at your own risk"" is the best I can say.
In a nutshell, I had a problem with my toilet leaking. The business sent a plumber who changed the wax ring. Charged $155. Toilet was leaking again within hours. Second plumber was sent and found that the problem was loose bolt/gasket in the toilet tank. It was leaking and dribbling down the side of the toilet and pooling on the floor. He tightened it up and that worked. I was charged again, even though the problem was misdiagnosed initially. I lodged a complaint and was told they did two jobs and hence I was charged twice. No regard for the fact that they fixed something that didn't need fixing the first time. Not happy.

Maybe I should leave two ratings. One for today and one for a couple of weeks ago. I had an excellent experience with the plumber who did new piping and ran it to my boiler to fix a blocked water line. He was fast efficient and had high end tools and his finished work was a work of art. I watch workers to learn and he was very efficient.

Today was different. TLC's Eric came to my house to CHANGE OUT a plastic water line to a copper line for a refrigerator. He did everything manually.. cutting with hand saw and was very slow. He didn't have the efficiencies of modern tools. He was inexperienced and messy soldering leaving pieces of scrap tin-looking pieces on my floor, dropped on my sump pump cover and in a utility bucket that I provided to him to catch water. He took longer to install a fridge line than the first TLC rep who cut and created a custom multi-cut and soldered line to feed my boiler. The total to replace a plastic line was more expensive than furnace repair. He charged 3plus hours to replace a plastic fridge line to a copper line. The basement pipes were exposed so he had many options to tap for the water source. He arrived at 8am and walked out my house to write the bill at 10:27. He tried to charge from 7:30-11am which included the 23 mins to write up the invoice which he rounded up to 30mins. He said he forgot he started at 8, not 7:30. He charged an extra 60 mins. When I called him on it he said oh let me fix that. I called and company said they charge for his time to write invoice... ok but 23 mins rounded up to 30 mins at regular rates...hmmm

Eric needs more practice but I don't want him doing any more jobs for me not at those rates and for the caliber of work he did. SMH night and day---same company. I will ask for experienced rep... upset I used them the second time.

I called TLC for a few problems. Darrell came a few minutes early & couldn't of been more professional & knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions & did an extra job also. The price was lower than I expected. If he represents this company, I definitely will use them for other problems & refer them .

Bottom line is this company tells you what they are going to do, and then does it. They said that they would be out at 7:30 A.M. and were. They said that they would fix my plumbing issues, and they did. I highly recommend TLC Plumbing.

Went on vacation & mother was house sitting. She noticed there was a leak in the basement. Called TLC Plumbing and they came out. Turns out the toilet was leaking. They said they had ""fixed"" the problem. Come back from vacation, not only is there still a leak in the basement, but now my floors are all uneven in the bathroom, turns out, water is now seeping under the floor. Two men came out this time to tell me there was no leak in the basement, and that the floor wasn't their fault. They said they'd fix the toilet because they did find it was still leaking, but it would be additional price. PLEASE. SAVE YOURSELVES FROM THE HASSLE.

We've used TLC Plumbing a couple of times. Our experience with TLC Plumbing has been great. The time between providing an estimate and scheduling to get the job done was short. Most recently we had a toliet replaced. Their staff was courteous and professional and left the area clean. Thanks so much!!
