Cesar with TLC got here a couple hours after my 7 a.m. call to TLC's office and rolled up his sleeves. Our shower refurbishment job turned out not to be as simple as it might have been, but he kept after it with complete professionalism and got everything addressed in a reasonable amount of time. Pricing - well, the initial quote was higher than I had hoped, but once I saw how the job was not straightforward at all, I sure was grateful that I'd gone with a professional outfit like TLC . . . and, in the end, I feel like it was worth every penny to have Cesar do the job the RIGHT way. A big thanks to Cesar and the Armstrongs: I'm glad I called them.

TLC always comes through, and you don't have to wait days before getting service. The guys are all very knowledgeable and experienced in their specialties: toilets, drains, boilers, HVAC. I learned that they do Continuing Education constantly. Last job done was getting a toilet replaced with a relocation part, done by Ryan. After he came we discovered the part was wrong size (ordered by another company), and after I got the correct part I called Ryan and he came over that day and installed my toilet. ...I could tell many more stories of TLC, such as the installation of a complicated double boiler: 100% professional work, friendly people, helpful, they listen to the owner.

10-11-2024 - TOILET INSTALLATION ON A OPERABLE TOILET LINE dated 10-11-2024
REACHED OUT TO TLC PER COMPANY REQUEST- NO RESOLUTION YET-

10-22-24 - TLC mgr, Shannon reached out to us on Tues, Oct 22, 2024 to investigate this Plumbing call.
He said TLC USUALLY gives a written estimate of any charges. We didn't receive a written estimate, LIST of charges, invoice or a receipt out of the 4 visits. Shannon said he would call back after investigating & speaking with his team.

10-24-24 -We spoke with Shannon again & He said we actually were given a 10% percent discount at the original visit (approx 10-11-24) & they didn't guarantee or warranty cover the Brand new toilet that TLC assumed was damaged in transit from Home Depot to our home. A Brand New Toilet"".
We asked for a copy of our Invoice billed for services, to get a idea of costs billed at first visit $596.00. And then the cleanup 2nd cost at $300.00.

Shannon, TLC mgr said he didn't have one. That it would take him a while to retrieve our charges. So as I suspected there wasn't a record of what we were charged.

We just would like a written invoice of charges & how this visit went so wrong. TLC swiped our card but No receipt, No invoice, No estimate-

Shannon told us he would have the ""Girls in the Front Office"" draft up a invoice of our TLC charges, But we would have to wait as he was going away on his Anniversay trip-
++++++ (Plumbing call was approx Oct 11th,over 10 days ago-
Shannon said: Call him back in 1 week after his anniversary trip!
SO we need to call TLC Back ===Still waiting for a simple receipt=

I wanted to post this update as I know Albuquerque customers rely on Yelp reviews. Carefully picking a reputable company & having a companies estimated cost before a job is imperative to good business.
We definitely look forward to communicating with TLC.
Hopefully a TLC Top Mgr or the Owner reads this review & personally gives us a call. Shannon has our contact information.

Repeated phone calls over three weeks to get a quote that was promised in days. The quote was then obviously ridiculous to make the point that they didn't want our business. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service. I initially wanted to try another A/C service company to compare to a company we have used a couple of times. We won't be calling TLC again.

A couple months ago, we called in TLC to do some plumbing work for us, which had been in need of getting done for a while. We needed a fixture in our front bathroom shower fixed and the faucet in that bathroom fixed. Both were done well; great work, TLC!

However, we also needed the kitchen faucet replaced. We had purchased a new faucet and they replaced the old one with the new one we'd purchased. However, they reversed the plumbing of the hot water and cold-water pipes to the kitchen faucet. The kitchen faucet is one of those single handle faucets. Now, whenever you turn the faucet all the way to the right, as you'd expect to get cold water, it comes out hot. Likewise, turning the faucet all the way to the left, to get hot water, results in cold water instead. It is frustrating to have the kitchen faucet reversed. TLC got two jobs out of three correct. But my advice to you is, if you call in TLC to do a job, double check their work before they leave your home.

I know a lot of people say go small company, but I have not had the best experience even with home warranty. TLC has never failed me and has been very very reasonable!! I called about not being able to turn of leaking handle and they were here in less then an hour. Water heater died, waited three weeks with no water with home warranty! Called TLC and they came out and fixed within 4 hours. They are always very very friendly, knowledgeable, always very reasonable pricing! Just too notch service!! They all seem happy with their jobs! Helpful! Honestly never been charged more then my warranty service charges! Thanks again TLC for turning on and doing maintenance on my AC!!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen!

They came in with a proposal - did half the work then tried to bill us for twice the proposal rate. No clean up and they even managed to brake things along the way that are still broken!

TLC is nothing short of a joke! You are better off ANYPLACE else!
