Very disappointed in the multiple changes to my appointment and overall treatment after being a platinum customer for several years.
the owner called to harass me for writing a poor review. adding insult to injury after his technician charged me $125.00 for doing nothing. literally (I timed it) the two guys spent 10 minutes in my house wiggled the connecting cable, then spent 35 minutes smoking cigarettes in the work van.
I needed to install a new heating/hot water system to replace an ancient boiler and inefficient tank. Having done my research and solicited quotes and advice from numerous heating companies, I was impressed from the start with the knowledge and professionalism of TJ's technical and office personnel. In a single day, Tim, Taylor and the crew replaced my old equipment with an efficient Bosch system, taking the time to get everything just right and to ensure my comfort level with the new setup. They left that area of the basement cleaner than they found it and have been great about follow-up (scheduled an inspection and put me on the books for a check-up in a year) and even guided me through the rebate process. I feel confident that I can rely on TJ's for whatever support and maintenance I might need and would not hesitate to recommend them.
Zachary R.I initially contacted TJ's to get a second opinion for my mass save energy loan. Tim (the owner) came out and was extremely knowledgeable and made several recommendations.
A month later I contracted them to install the upgrades. They installed gas lines for a second meter, a combination boiler, a forced air furnace, and a tankless water heater for my multifamily. They had all work completed in just over a day and were extremely tidy. The professionalism of the work crews is impressive.
The whole team was prompt, efficient, and a pleasure to talk to, from the office to the apprentice. You can tell everyone enjoys being there- I almost wanted to become a plumber and work for Tim!
I'm giving TJ's one star because I can't give them ""0"". We have had a maintenance contract with them for several years and until now they have been fine. This past summer my system needed a part. They got the part in but after 3 months of trying to get them to come install it, they cancelled my appointment. We were unable to get another appointment for 10 more days. We found another company who was able to come sort us out sooner so we offered to purchase the part from TJ's just to get the job done. THEY REFUSED TO SELL US THE PART! We have been a great customer for years. We always paid our bills as soon as we got them. They have treated us terribly with no remorse. When I tried to talk to them about changing contractors they just said, ""OK, maybe we can work together in the future."" Are you kidding me? They have absolutely no regard for customer loyalty. Do not call TJ's if you need help with your HVAC system! You will be sorry!
