TJ and his crew have always been available and very friendly when my home's plumbing decides to act up. They have replaced other plumbers' shoddy work and have let me know which pipes to look at next for replacement etc. I have been using them for several years now and will continue to do so and recommend them to anyone I know that asks if I know a good HONEST plumber.

We are doing a kitchen renovation and called TJ Plumbing to come over and replace cast iron pipes. TJ and they guys were on time and did an awesome job!! Of course we had issues with piping but they had everything they needed with them!! A man of his word!!! We would recommend TJ Plumbing for any plumbing/heating job!!

TJ Ortu Plumbing helped me out GREATLY! Hot water heater quit with a crack, called TJ and they got out to us as fast as they could. They were early with their arrival time, identified other concerns, installed the water heater and did a thoroughly good job! The plumber was nice, inviting, professional and just a good person. He took the time to show me what areas we need to keep an eye on for future repairs/maintenance.

Like a previous reviewer said, calls and texts were not returned. Truly not the way a professional should behave, especially when the job we were looking to get done was a fairly lucrative one. It's a shame, at least here in New Jersey, that contractors act like they're doing you a favor. Oh well, there are plenty of other plumbers.

My heat was out and I saw the good reviews for this plumber so I called multiple times and left messages and never received the courtesy of a return call. November is too cold to leave people waiting for some common professionalism.

If you need repair, do yourself a favor and find someone reliable that won't leave you waiting in the cold.

My niece initially hired a different plumber to fix her furnace. She spent a lot of money, still had no heat AND that guy refused to come to the house for 5 days. So we called TJ. He is amazing and so professional!! TJ was understanding, sympathetic, knowledge, honest and fair. TJ did, in a few hours, what Central Comfort could not do in 4 visits.... TJ Ortu got the heat going on a Saturday by fixing all of the other guy's mistakes (for half the cost!). Our entire family will call no one but TJ! He is the best AND he restored our faith in plumbing contractors!

TJ is a consummate Professional. I feel a little bit stupid, not being adequately prepared for his most fleeting windows of availability.

He came highly recommended by a trusted friend who is a full service building contractor by trade. As previously stated; it was merely my own procrastination and lethargy that preempted the Master Plumber from performing this work himself.

In short; I am so very elated that he had choreographed the most expeditious repair by one of his most experienced employees in his absence; and AT THE EXACT VERBALLY EXTENDED COST/ESTIMATE; I felt an absolute and total obligation to YELP it out.

You ABSOLUTELY cannot go wrong engaging this Contractor's services. He is my August 2018 Hero of the month.

I had service based on review here. Changed two valves today. Very professional, on time, friendly, honesty, clean and neat work jobsite. Not like the other guys. I will definitely use TJ plumbing again for sure.

I had an urgent matter with a non stop running and clogged toilet early on a saturday morning. TJ not only showed up not too long after I called, but he was very nice, thorough and very knowledgable. He took care of the problem and cleaned afterwards. I highly recommend him and will definetIy use his services again if needed.

I needed to have my outside faucet replaced. After waiting for months, and making many calls, to get someone else that had given me an estimate to do the work, I contacted TJ. He responded right away and made an appointment for the next day. He called when he was on his way, and arrived at the time he had set the day before. He gave me an estimate which was $20 cheaper than my previous estimate, and he did the work right then. No waiting for him to come back to do the job. It works great, and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend TJ. He is very professional, and it was a pleasure to do business with him.
