I would not recommend using Titan Plumbing and Drain Services out of St. Charles. The company does not know how to take care of loyal customers and they fail to recognize the number rule of marketing - A customer with a bad experience will share that bad experience with a minimum of seven people. Hopefully this bad experience will be shared with more than seven people. I used Titan in the past for plumbing repairs. Today, when the technician told me that my latest repair was going to cost $1000, I asked him they could do anything about the price for a repeat/loyal customer. He said no. I asked to speak to his supervisor. The tech told me to call the dispatcher. The dispatcher said there was nothing they could do on price and she refused to put me in contact with the owner or person who sets the prices. Way to go on customer service! Unfortunately, today Titan lost a repeat customer, and I will be using another plumber. I suggest anyone in need of plumbing services use somebody other than these price gougers.

Buyer beware; I called Titan because my hot water heater was not working; they say it is ""$19"" for a service call, then when they arrive it is a $299 fee just to run a diagnostic check? Then the service person said its the 'motor' and I should think about replacing the whole unit for $3000 without even doing the test. Thankfully I told him to leave before I got ripped off. I called McHenry Heating and Cooling later and they identified its the pilot-no 'diagnostic test fees' or BS. If you are a female do not call this service because they will take advantage of you. The service person was not very friendly either. Finally the rate themselves as 'yelp 5 star' on their website? Really? All I see here is 1 star and that is even generous...

My sump pump was not expelling water a few weeks ago after we'd had a lot of rain, so I called for someone to come out and take a look. John and Bob from Titan Plumbing came to my home to see what was going on (and they arrived ahead of the scheduled time, to my delight, after calling first to make sure it was alright to do so). Upon inspection, they told me my pump was inoperable. This is never good news, but they told me my options without pressuring me at all. They offered several choices, and everything was in writing and up-front. I could have said no thanks and did my own shopping, but I decided that it was a better decision to just get it done right away. Plus, the (optional) warranty they provided gave me peace of mind as I have a long history of trouble with past sump pumps. They installed it and got it running in a short amount of time, cleaned up all the mess and they both insisted on wearing shoe covers the entire time, even though I said it was not necessary. John and Bob were really great... they were down-to-earth, easy-going and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service I received and I will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing issues that may arise.

We had our water heater completely die. I spoke to Terry, the owner, about options for a new water heater. He explained the sizing and types of water heaters. The next day his plumber was at my house in Algonquin installing the new water heater. It was a painless, fast process which is what I needed! Highly recommend Titan Plumbing.

I had a service issue with Titan and wrote a poor review, but after some negotiation with the owner, he agreed to refund my money in full. The charge had been to repair an item I felt had not been installed correctly. Prices are quite high, but other than the one issue I had with the services of a plumber who no longer works there, I have been impressed by the quality of their work.

I live out of state & have a rental in Huntley, IL. I called Titan Plumbing for a leak that the tenants said was coming from an upstairs bathroom. I was charged over $600 and all they did was lay down some tarps, cut a small head sized hole in the kitchen ceiling to investigate the leak and caulked & taped a shower head. I phoned them to argue about the price of the bill but the service manager was so rude to me I had to hang up on him. I have a detailed billing they had emailed me and not one part was replaced according to the bill they sent. Beware of this company who take advantage of out of state customers and from other reviews I have read, in state customers also.

Titan was courteous. Showed up when they said they would. Explained what needed to be done. Did a good job, came back on a Saturday to follow thru on repairs that needed to be made and did NOT charge weekend rates.

Titan has awesome reviews on Google so when I saw the 1 star reviews over here on Yelp I decided this is where I would go first to review because I can't believe these people are reviewing the same company.

I called Titan because of the fantastic reviews on Google, and because we had a leak from the kitchen sink.

First of all the customer service rep (Pamela) who took my phone call could not have been friendlier or more professional when I called in. The next day, the technician/plumber called when they were about 10 minutes away and actually ASKED me if I had a preference as to where they parked - in my driveway or on the street. I've been a homeowner for over 20 years and have never been asked that from a service provider, now that's courtesy. HUGE points!

The two guys who came out were clean, professional, courteous and quick. Because they would be going in and out to the truck they asked about my cat to make sure they kept an eye on him so he didn't escape. There was no pressure, no hard sell, they quickly diagnosed the problem, and offered the solution. I opted to have them do the work on the spot as I was under a time crunch and they got the job done swiftly, cleaned up and other than a brand new faucet there was no mess, no dirt, absolutely no evidence they were there - that I appreciate!

I am simply overjoyed that there is a company out there who exists with such stellar customer service and is respectful of my home and property (and pets!).

As for the comments from other reviewers about being overpriced, I say go do the work yourself and see how much it costs you, and then go open up a company and do it for other people and see what you would charge. Titan was fair - I'm willing to pay for quality work done correctly in my home and that is exactly what we received.

I will call the next time I need work done and WILL definitely recommend them!!

I wouldn't take everyone's opinion to heart on here. Seems like these ""3"" people had some bad experiences for some reason. Get on google and you'll see 5 stars up and down the list of people pleased with their work like I was.

I set up an appointment with Pamela on Tuesday for the guys to come out on Wednesday evening...wasn't sure about waiting that long...but was cool with it. I called Pamela back Wednesday morning because things went from bad to worse and needed someone there ASAP. Two hours later...Bob shows up...looks everything over...turning water off on a bursted water heater...explained how much everything was gonna cost versus doing it myself and job was completed ""That Same Day"". Great great job guys and Pamela...will use you in the future
