Called Titan because of google reviews. Customer service is very nice but everything so far has been disappointing. Had an issue with sediment in my water, scheduled an appointment and received a 2 hour window. Plumber arrived an hour late, and I had to call to notify the dispatcher, who said the plumber would call and he never did. Plumber was nice and suggested 3000 dollar fix. I agreed and was supposed to have the plumber return on Tuesday. On Monday I called because I had not heard from the company to set up a time, I had to call. Turns out the product I had agreed to was no longer available, and no one was going to tell me. I requested further info, which I had to call a second time for. The fix was moved to Wednesday. I had to clear the entire day, still heard nothing. I had to call, which resulted in me waiting all day, only to find out now I have to meet them Thursday. They sounded shocked on the phone when I might not be available two days in a row during buisness hours.

As of now I am only sticking with them until I can find another timely plumber. If titan completes the work and it holds up they may or may not receive more stars. I'm sure I will be calling about something tomorrow.

Had two drains clogged in my master bath. I was told the cost to come to my home would be $19. When they got there I was told that each drain would cost about $250 to clean out for a total of nearly $500 - even though they were in the same bathroom using the same piece of equipment. I paid for unclogging the tub drain - $243.60. A day later I called Anderson Plumbing in North Aurora. Minimum cost - $125. They were there for one hour and had to cut out a piece of pipe from behind the wall and replace it and the under-the-sink fitting. Total cost - $131.61. You figure it out. Is there a ""zero"" rating for Titan?

I called Titan to unclog my kitchen sink yesterday, the guy named Jason came for the service. I am very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge on plumbing. And he did a very good job.

Last week I called Titan Plumbing to fix my garbage disposal. It was leaking from the bottom and a quick google search let me know that I needed a new one. I have used Titan before and had a positive experience. They sent a plumber out within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem and let me know that I needed a new disposal. All is good. I asked how much it would be and I was presented with 3 options. The cheapest option was $493.22 plus their service fee which made it a total of $512. I questioned the price, but had him go ahead and do it since I didn't have a working sink. The plumber got very defensive when I questioned the price so I dropped it. Disposal works now, and the plumber was nice and professional while at my home. After he left I was unsettled about what I paid and I looked online at the cost of the disposal that was put in my home. It is available for $80 at Home Depot (same model). This really got me thinking, so I called 2 other plumbers and got quotes, one was $275 and the other was $278 (both installed). I called the Titan office to express my concern and I was greeted with a very snappy lady. She said that she would have the manager call me the next day. The next day the guy called me on his way out of the office. I missed the call. I called back shortly afterwards and he was gone for the day. He said he would call back on Saturday. Again I missed the call and I returned it within 10 minutes and the guy had left for the day again. When I called back, the receptionist rudely asked if I had a better number since the manager had tried me twice. I explained that I don't sit at a desk attached to my phone. At this point I don't even want to deal with them anymore. It is a shame because I have recommended them to family and friends in the past. I just didn't realized how much they were marking up their services. I will never again use this company. I do give them credit in that they are professional, but that only goes so far. In addition, they are paying me $25 to post a review. I find it interesting when companies pay for reviews. It certainly skews the reviews that are posted. It didn't help them in this case because I am extremely dissatisfied and I feel scammed. Don't make the same mistake!

Update- Terry from Titan called me. He assured me that they offer a price match guarantee and if I get a quote from the other plumber that he would match it plus 5%. I honestly was impressed after speaking to him. He was professional and seemed fair. I called the office and spoke with Pamela this morning. She asked if the quote included warranty. I explained to her that it didn't state anything but the Titan quote does not either. I guess only time will tell whether they will back up the price match promise or not.

Final Update- Terry did uphold the price match guarantee for us. He sent me a refund of the difference plus 5 % after I submitted a equal quote from another company. They also did send me my $25 gift card for submitting this review. Thank you Titan!

I had just your normal, run of the miss toilet clog. The Plummer was very knowledgeable and friendly while he was working. Great Work! Thank you, Steve!

On Monday 2/24/14 Titan Plumbing replaced my gas hot water heater. I have to say I was taken aback by the price quoted to me which included a $19 dispatch fee for just coming out to the house. At the very least I would have thought the dispatch fee would have been waived since I used them during this visit to replace the water heater. Chad and Ron (service tech's) were very pleasant and appeared to know exactly what they were doing, it was apparent to me, they have done this many times before. The service for the replacement of a 50 gallon gas hot water heater ended up costing me a total of $1.228.33 and I was expecting something around $800. I did have a discount coupon which gave me $75 off ending up with a total of $1,153.33. When they had completed the installation they checked for any gas leaks using a torch and lo and behold there was a gas leak near the thermostat, as a very large flame was emitted from the gas pipe fittings. Had my wife seen this she would have had a fit, thinking our house was going to burn down. What ever happened with using soap bubbles to test for gas leaks? The receptionist/dispatcher (Pamela) was very pleasant to speak with. The reason I thought the replacement would have been less is, Pamela had given me an estimate the evening before for about $795, but in fairness that was for a 40 gallon gas hot water heater. When I realized I actually had a 50 gallon hot water heater, I called Pamela back to let her know and she said the tech's would give me a complete quote during their visit the next morning and it would be a bit more than what she had estimated. My water heater broke and I called Titan to come out. My conversation with their phone rep was the first positive. She walked me through the process and got the repair man out that morning. She was very pleasant and represented the company well. Then Chad came out with an assistant and he told me up front all of my options for the repair. I will definatley use this company again.

I used Titan pluming to install a water softening system. The receptionist was so easy to talk to and so nice! Chad, our service man, was prompt and informative! I'm happy with the fast service and thankful to Titan plumbing for a job well done!!!! I would recommend them to anyone in the surrounding area!

The team at Titan plumbing defines good service. They had to replace the main sewer line in my house that goes through the foundation, and I couldn't have been more happy with the work they did. I know, a lot rides on the individual, so Roger (the other review) may have had a bad employee, but if you get Evan I can personally guarantee he is on of the most professional plumbers you will find in the area. I received several quotes from other plumbers, and Titan was the most competitive. I did have to haggle a little to get the best price, but their original quote was still competitive. If I ever get the chance, I will refer others to Titan.

I called Titan for a backed up kitchen sink. They essentially had to run a long snake down the drain to clear the block and they had to readjust the pitch in my drain in the basement. About an hour and twenty minutes of work cost over 500 dollars. I felt pretty ripped off by the high price but the insult to injurty was that the plumber scratched our wood floors. We complained about the floors and their answer was to send the same plumber over to take a picture of the floor with his Iphone. They have done nothing to fix or make ammends with their damage and then the plumber said he placed a mat down to protect the floors which he didn't. Typically higher prices would mean professionalism and quality service. There are other options for plumbers. I recommend any other plumber you can find.
