I have used Tiptop Plumbing several times in the past and I highly recommend Mr. Glaze. One of the problems that I called him about was that a contractor when he installed a new toilet in my remodeled bathroom did not do it correctly and consequently, quite some time later, the slow leak dripped through the ceiling of the garage,formed a huge bubble which ultimately burst and the drywall had to be cut out. Charles found the problem and fixed the toilet that was not set in correctly when it was installed originally. He also installed a new granite sink in my kitchen another time and it looked beautiful. Mr. Glaze is very professional, extremely pleasant and does excellent work. I highly recommend him and just posted a recommendation regarding him on Nextdoor.com as well.

Competent, meticulous, fair, generous, personable--master plumber Charles Glaze is all of these and more. He returns calls quickly and comes out to the customer's house as soon as he can, often same day. Charles replaced our leaking 16-year-old water heater with a beautiful new one that he selected and brought with him. The price he quoted over the phone, labor included, was quite reasonable. When Charles and his polite young assistant arrived, they first checked the in-house water pressure, which was too high, which led to a diagnosis that our house's pressure-reducing valve had failed (and also led to Charles fixing the drippy shut-off valve to the back outdoor spigot--no charge). This impressed me: he didn't just install the new heater, he took a broader view of the plumbing situation in the house. He also quoted me a very fair price to replace the pressure-reducing valve, """"since I'm already here."""" When finished with the installations, his work was a thing of beauty. He explained everything he had done thoroughly and explained maintenance procedures in detail. The whole experience with Charles was exceptional; he earned my highest recommendation.
