Backstory:
I have a tankless water heater that stopped working years ago. Since I moved into this house, I have not used the master bathroom until now. I had a company come out, and they gave me an outrageous quote of over 2k to replace the tankless water heater. The company called me and told me they had difficulty finding the unit to replace the old one; it might take months. So I ended up looking for a new service I found and called Tipton's. Tipton's sent out a gentleman named Luis. Luis replaced the unit on the spot for a quarter of the price the other company quoted me. Embarrassingly I forgot to tip him!
Now:
My sprinkler system burst during the last bad ice storm. I finally called to get it repaired, and I called Tipton's first because Luis was so excellent the first time. Not only did he fix the sprinkler, but he also did it quickly and for less than the appraisal. The first appraisal guy said they might have to dig up our driveway, which we had expected. Luis did the job without digging up the driveway, and I know his work is solid because our water heater has worked perfectly. THANK YOU, LUIS, from Tipton's plumbing!
Message to you:
Finding reliable, ethical, and good people with good morals is hard. Luis is that person, I can't speak for other people at Tipton's, but all my dealing with them have been honest, helpful, and reliable. I would recommend Tipton's, but I will only ask for Luis, and if he is not available, I will wait ( He is that awesome.).

Other reviews, I don't understand why people from other states are reviewing them. If they moved from here and used them, my experience with them was different.

I had an emergency leak under my kitchen sink! I called Tiptons and they immediately sent Louis out and in a matter of two hours it was fixed! So professional! Thanks so much!

I called for an estimate to install a gas starter in my fireplace... even explaining I was in the Navy and also a Registered Nurse, he wanted to charge over $60 just for an estimate... when I asked about waving it, re replied that's how I set up my business!
Would NOT recommend TIPTON'S PLUMBING!

Timely and great service. Luis did a fantastic job even though it turned out to be more difficult than it originally seemed. He explained everything and even cleaned up after himself. Very happy with Tipton's.

Had them come out a year ago, because my downstairs toilet and shower were backing up. They snaked, and said there was nothing in the lines, and everything was good. Charged more than any other plumber has in previous years, and the very next day it happened again. When I called about this, they said they did what they were paid to do, and I would have to pay them to come back out and run a camera through the system.... I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!

I should have known they were awful based on the fact they could come within the hour. Total rip off company. Wanted to charge 3x what other companies were charging and I already had all of the parts! AND they make you pay just to come out. Most companies will give you a free estimate. I think these guys are going around collecting service fees and then writing estimates for outlandish and insane prices but making $45! Pretty good gig if you do it enough times a day. Dishonest, horrible. NEVER again.

This company is TOTALLY ridiculoIus. I called them needing some lines capped and told them the reason I was calling was due to a bid that was too high from another plumber. They sent a tech out and quoted me a $450 quote to cap a few lines! Tech admitted it would be less than an hours work! But that ""we quote by the job""!!! Quote came from the owner, not the tech, who was really great. It is just sad to me that people would use a time like this to try and take advantage of others. Many thumbs down.

Called for a quote, guy blatantly made fun of me on the line for asking for clarification.

He said there was a minimum fee and then they'd come up with a price later. When I asked how much he thought it would be for our specific needs, he said he'd give me three prices. He then repeated the same vague answer three times in his patronizing, verbatim drone and continued to say everything in the same repetitive way. I might have felt belittled by someone of 'superior intelligence' but the guy couldn't even pronounce Nikon right.

It's a relief to see I'm not the only one who is of the same opinion. Their family company claim just means that the worst people stay hired.

The owner sent me a racist message saying that he hopes I'm an America and can prove it just because I updated my review because a yelper asked me if my plumbing problem was fixed by Andy's plumbing still works. I updated my review to say yes. Then Tipton plumbing (owner sent that racist remark to me when i am a United States citizen) just because he did a bad job doesn't give him the right to attack me with a racist remarks. He didn't fix my problem, over charged me and I had to use someone else so the problem is his plumbing skills and he quoted me 4,000ish to fix a sewer line which that wasn't the problem. I paid Andy's 145 and it's been working ever since for the last 3 years. He can't fix the plumbing don't attack me with racist remarks....oh check out tiptons google reviews because most of them said the same thing that he overcharges and doesn't do the job right. I wish I read it before I used him.
