We had a sewer leak. Called Tino's and not only did they come out same day and diagnose, but fixed the problem! Very reasonably priced too. Definitely calling them for the next issue (cuz you know it's coming).

Richard & Juan we're great to work with. There was one more person on the crew who I unfortunately can't recall his name but also worked hard on my extensive bathroom remodel.
Juan was very helpful in setting timelines with me for other projects in the bathroom to be aligned and finished so he could continue with the plumbing.
The original person I hired for tile installation fell through but Richard and the crew were more than willing to give me that extra time to get our things in order and find someone else to tile the floor how we intended.
Then once it was ready they continued with the plumbing like planned.

They did great work! Even when something minor was mixed up they offered to redo it entirely at no extra cost to make sure it's right. Not even their fault either, it's an old house with janky original plumbing
But they had already been so helpful to me that I just asked for the easy fix option. But it was great to know these guys have high standards for their work and we're willing to make it perfect.

The plumbing work they did was not easy due to limited access but it's all set now for years to come and we now have a bathtub, vanity sink set up and washer machine and shower lines set ready for them to come back soon to hook up our washer units!

Even though Tinos couldn't help us for reasons beyond their control - supply issue for parts.
They did everything possible to resolve our issues.
They were great at communication, very professional, and very nice to work with.

Came to do estimate for replacement shower trap. Two weeks and two calls later, nothing. Maybe they're too busy. Only one chance for a first impression, and this one was not good. Will give business to another company

I've used these guys twice in the last year or so for different problems. Both times they were on time, fixed the problem, were professional and charged a reasonable price that I was happy to pay. If there's something else you need from your plumbers, I don't know what it is.

I do not recommend Tino's Plumbing! First time, they sent 2 guys to repair a leaking water pipe (easy access, above ground) and charged me nearly $600 including 3hrs labor for exactly 40 minutes of actual work (I was there observing). Only one guy actually did the work (the other guy just stood there watching), plus they marked up the materials at least triple what I would have paid myself. Second time, I made a service appointment to repair a shower water valve in one of our rentals (just swap out the valve stem, nothing more). They called the morning to give me a time window, and when I showed up to meet, someone had already come and left and did not do the work. To make matters worse, they totally ghosted me and never even called me back.

I'm giving two stars only because the technician Roger's work is good. I like Roger. But the company, owners, staff and everything else has become so bad that I will not use them again-- one star. Tino was fair and easy to work with but then he retired and when his sons (Richie snd the other one) took over and everything went downhill.

I'm a vacation rental property manager and have my own investment rentals. I deal with a lot of tradespeople including plumbers.

Tino's stands out but not for good reasons. They are possibly the most disorganized and hard to deal with of any trade in the Watsonville area. There's never a formal bid or contract. What the technician says will be the charging method is then changed by the owner to a fixed price that was never agreed to.

My latest example of this is a job done last fall to replace a short little water heater where the technician told us it would be time and materials and gave a ballpark price. We chose to do it on that basis. had it been any more, we would not have chosen to do the job with them. Unbeknownst to us, after the work was done, Richie then changed the cost to be more than double what it should have been because he marked up all the materials 50% and decided the labor wasn't enough so he changed it to an inflated ""flat fee."" Trying to talk to him about it went nowhere because he informed me he would never make any money if he did not bill this way. It's simply untrue.

They ignored multiple emails offering to pay the original discussed cost and I just received a voicemail threatening to send me to collections for the jacked up price that has no contract or bid to back it up. That would be a fraudulent claim to a collection agency to harass me. moreover, we have been offering to pay the original amount for months and been ignored.

The office manager Maria said there was a revision to the invoice that apparently never got sent, as they have very poor communication. Even so, the revision was still a trumped up number that did not match what we had agreed to. She then took it upon herself to inform me they would never do any work for me again and hung up on me. It was silly to think I would ever use them again, regardless, but interesting that their office worker would try to exert that authority.

Duncan plumbing has proven to be responsive, reliable, and fair, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

On 11/7/2022 We replaced our hot water tank with Tino's Plumbing in Watsonville. The young man (Jesus) was very efficient and friendly.
Wasn't a easy installment for him location wise. But he got it done
and was very friendly and left everything perfect . Thanks for a great job.
Would highly recommend them.

My water main burst in April 2021, right after I bought my house (of course) and the line from house to street was about 100' -- so the cost was going to be even higher for all the digging. I called two other local companies first, and after quoting for the main job, both offered, for a price in the hundreds, to install a hose valve at the street so I could run hoses up the driveway for a temporary water supply. Their bids to replace the main were high so I declined the valve help and called Tino's next. Not only was Tino's bid far lower than the other two, but without my asking they hooked up that hose valve to help me out, on the spot, at no charge. For that reason and for others, they struck me as less salesy, more old-school, and more about doing a job well than making a max profit. I hired yard help to do the digging, and Tino's replaced the main on time, for a great price. My contractor friend said they did an excellent job (and he's VERY picky). I will definitely call Tino's for all my plumbing disasters, repairs, and installations!
