Finding a good plumber is like finding a diamond in the rough in New Jersey.
Tindall & Ranson saved me...no hot water..tank part bad. I tried somewhere else on the recommendation of my home warranty...they were taking over two weeks to get the part. Tindall & Ranson were called as I saw no end in sight. They knew what my options were and I decided to get a new tank. Installed same day! For a great price.
Employees are kind and knowledgeable. Don't look elsewhere. They are the best in the area.
Great service. I can't say enough how professional they are and how comfortable they made me. Most places can make you feel like you are being taken advantage of (because let's be real - I have NO idea how this stuff works), but not these guys. Came out ASAP on a Saturday, and while they could not complete my job, they pointed me in the absolute right direction. Will use them for anything in the future, and will recommend over and over again!
Laura K.Woke up to no heat in the house, January 29, 2019 and the weather calling for a Polar Vortex. I called Tindall & Ranson as they installed and preform maintenance on my heating unit. The receptionist was unsure of when they would be able to come out, but did assure me that it would be that day. I was very happy when I received a call about 11:00 that the technician was on his way. They were very professional, took their time to find out what the issue was and then fix the problem. I could not have asked for better service!
We just had an emergency repair conducted on the boiler for our home's heating system. We called for assistance and the technician was onsite and completed the repair within the hour! Greg was courteous, professional and overall fantastic. He got the heat up and running quickly and saved our Christmas Eve! Would certainly recommend.
Keith G.The actions of one employee can say a lot about a company. While I did not have an occasion to use their services, I can however bear witness to the character of one of their employees. A friend visiting from Japan dropped her wallet while crossing the street in Princeton near the McCarter Theater. A Tindall & Ranson technician was driving by at the time. I dismissed the honk of a horn as he passed as it could not be for us. I then noticed the van slow down and turn around in the middle of the road. He got out and we made eye contact as he crossed the street to retrieve something from the ground. He continued in my direction, handing me my friend's wallet. I thanked him and with a smile he turned back to his van. While there is little more that I can do but thank him, at the very least I could post this.

really happy with the entire process. They handled water and sewer line repairs for me, which is a job most plumbers will shy away from doing. Best part was tthey really assessed what the issue was and tried to find the root cause. They absolutely stand behind their work and came out right away when I found another issue. Great to know that they have my back during a very very stressful situation.
I used this company because our pool service recommend them. I thought I had a leak with backwash pool pipe. Plumber didn't want to touch the pool very unhelpful and charged for service. The whole time was an attempt to upsell services. It turns out I never had a backwash pipe problem just irrigation system head stuck and flooded yard. Should have stayed with my usual plumber would not have charged for showing up.
They told me that it will cost total of $178 ($89+$89) for installation of dish washer. But when the plumber came to my house, he told me that it is going to cost $450. There was big price difference for the service. They should have told me the total cost (at least approximate cost). They charged me $95 doing nothing. I think it is just a cheating to customer. They have to tell the customer upfront everything clearly. I do not recommend anybody to get service from this company.
These guys used to be decent, local, service oriented. Don't know what happened. 3 days before Christmas, my furnace blower failed. I called and they dispatched a tech. Only after diagnosing the problem and getting a quote for over $700 (mind you it's 50 degrees and my kids are freezing) did the tech mention, oh, and you'll have to pay now. I said I had always been billed before and he said that they've had too many people slow pay and I needed to pay now. Merry Christmas Tindall and Ranson. My advice is to use a different service - one that treats it's customers like human beings. What a terrible company. Home Depot would have billed me for the same repair.
Charged $150 for a 15 minute visit where our pilot light had gone out on the coldest night of the year. The invoice said it included a ""diagnostic"". No such ""diagnostic"" occurred. The technician opened up the furnace door and then came upstairs to ask me for a lighter with which to re-light it. Price gouging at its best.
