Requested minor plumbing modification and permit/approval for water heater. Service was completed but employee spent much time on the phone attempting to determine what was required to meeting building codes. He left said he would call next day...no call. So 4 business days later I called the office and they needed to check with plumber and get back to me. No response, so I called again in 3 days and left a message for the owner, but never heard from him. Called 2 days later and was told"" oh yea, we submitted the request for the permit yesterday"", and the info was sent to a different address. So the work did pass. Not the first time I've used there service but it will be the last. The work turned out to cost me $400/hour for 3 hours work plus $200 for parts and permit. Over priced, uncommunicative and extremely frustrating to deal with.

I had multiple problems with a toilet that they came and fixed. Good points: fast response, clear communication, not unreasonable costs, apparent good workmanship. The most important parts of the problem were fixed. However, though I thought I was hiring a plumber, Tim's is not presently licensed for plumbing in Minneapolis. Consequently, the site visit was done by a drain specialist, rather than a plumber, and he was not allowed to fix one minor part of the problem (a faulty shut-off valve). Overall, happy with the service.

Tim's came out within a few hours of my call. He found there was a simple solution. However, the resolution was in a place that was difficult to reach. I felt like the cost was high, given the simplicity of the solution. I am also disappointed that the issue is not totally resolved. I know what to do to fix it, but am aggravated that I still need to fix the toilet/plumbing issue.

We have used Tim's plumbing for 2 years, their drain and sink technicians are knowledgeable and thorough! Our 60 + year old plumbing definitely needs knowledge to keep it running properly without constant issues. They are always quick to set up appointments, on time, easy to pay, no runaround and did great work. We've never needed to call them back in to a project or had issues! You get what you pay for and this is quality work that's worth the extra money!

We have been using Tim's Quality Plumbing since we bought our house a little over 30 years ago. The kitchen sink got plugged up so we needed a plumber. That morning a timeframe was given that same morning and my husband was able to meet the plumber at the house. He was on time. He was friendly and professional, explaining what he did. There was really no mess to clean up. He was very neat and clean. The kitchen sink drains just fine now! We've never had a problem with any of the plumbers who have come to our home. It's always been a good experience and whatever was wrong has been fixed the first visit.

I got a water conditioning system with the house I bought. I didn't know if it worked or what the story was with it. Tim's came out, gave me information about the system and ended up replacing it as it was over 30 years old and much better systems were available. They got the job done all same day, so I was pleased with that turn-around a lot.

Finally, I've found a plumbing company. Every time I've needed a plumber I've tried someone different never satisfied. The search has ended. Brittney in the office over the phone was awesome Followed up by Lonn onsite. Called in at 11:30 had a new water heater by 3:45. I may have got lucky they had an opening that day regardless. I was quoted a rough estimate and they delivered no hidden-up charges. Lonn was outstanding explaining everything Feels good to know this is the company I'll be calling every time for any future plumbing needs. Thanks' for a great experience. I'll be scheduling my water softener 'replacement soon with them.

The following review is for Sean Harris. I had my home built in Maple Grove in 1986. Being widowed, I never had anyone who could keep up on my repairs and/or updates regarding my plumbing issues. Sean came out last fall for the first time and did repair my front yard outside faucet that was dripping. This spring when turning my outside faucets, the front faucet was still dripping. At the time of booking an appointment for Sean to return and repair the faucet, I also booked for him to check out my sump pump (it was the original one from when the house. In the last months, I have had Sean out to replace that outside faucet, replace my sump pump, replace both outdated toilets, and do a repair in the shower in the lower-level bathroom. Each time, Sean gave me the price for each repair/replacement. He always very professional and polite. Since I am battling cancer, he was very cautious to wear a mask. I will always call Tim's Plumbing and request for Sean to return with any future repairs/replacements I will have. I wish I could give him a 10 Star ranking!!!!!!

During my kitchen renovation, Tim's quality plumbing did just do a great job installing the sink, faucet, dishwasher and range (twice). They went above and beyond by helping me plan for the job and getting the new range in the house and getting the old one out, specially Josh. Keep up the good work!
