Tim came by today and gave me great advisement on an issue I was having; totally took the mystery out of it and eased my mind. On top of that he was ""johnny on the spot"" with some quick fixes and referrals out for other issues. 10/10!

I put in a request for a quote online to replace 2 toilets. My partner had received a quote from someone else that I thought was very high. Tim got out to the property very quickly and gave us a medium high estimate.
We needed the work done quickly as one of the toilets was not functioning at all. The work was done very quickly and the final invoice was much less than what the estimate was (that is always a nice surprise). I would prefer that the estimate was high than too low with a bunch of add ons.
Our tenants told us that the work was done quickly and professionally. Thanks for taking care of us!

Tim replaced both of the 50 gallon electric water heaters in our home. The first time I called Tim, he was out on a job. I left a message; he called me back in less than an hour. We scheduled a ""scouting"" appointment to assess what needed to be done. Tim showed up right on time, explained to us what would be required, when he could do it, and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the job. He also took the time to explain everything he was recommending and why he was recommending it. The next morning, Tim arrived right on time and got to work. We are VERY happy with the result! Tim is friendly, professional, and very, very careful. He took extra precautions (booties, drop cloths, soft tired hand truck, etc.) so that when the job was completed, it was like he had never been there! The whole experience was more like having a long time friend or neighbor over for the day. We can highly recommend Tim's Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber. And the final bill was exactly what he had estimated. Thanks, Tim!

Tim came out to secure our toilet to the floor. We have an old cabin and the toilet was not a simple job. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a work around to fix it properly.

I had a leaky shut off valve under my bathroom sink after I came home on a Friday. I called a couple plumbers and Tim was the only one who responded since it was late on a Friday . He came by within 30 minutes and seemed like the repair only took another 30 minutes. He wore booties to not track dirt inside , very clean and professional. I think I have found my new go-to plumber. Highly recommended

It was late in the afternoon, just before 5 o'clock, and I discovered what I thought was a leaking washing machine. Had a large puddle in my laundry room. I called the plumbing company I'd used previously but they close at 3:30. Since the leak looked serious, I thought I'd tried someone else, so maybe I could get someone out to the home by early morning. I came here for recommendations, saw the review for Tim's Plumbing, and called him.

He answered on the second ring.

I explained my situation and he said he was sorry but he doesn't service washing machines, that I would need to call an appliance servicing company (makes sense). Tim then proceeded to give me some good advice on how to contain the leak (turn off the water nozzles, etc.) to minimize damage. He then added that, if I wanted, he would come out tomorrow morning and check to see if it wasn't simply a faulty hose, which he could replace. We talked a little more and I was very impressed by his kindness, his knowledge, and his desire to be helpful. What a great guy!

As it turned out... the leak was from a gallon water bottle sitting under the sink! A tiny little hole in the plastic bottle. Ha!

But Tim's phone number is now in my contacts with the note: Call FIRST for plumbing service when needed.

If there were a 10 star rating I would give to Tim's Plumbing. Tim was diligent, knowledgeable, honest and a delight to work with. I highly recommend him with no reservations. Thank you, Tim!

Without knowing or needing a plumber since moving to the area, I asked my neighbors for recommendations. The #1 referral was a guy who moon-lights from a commercial operation. Well I wasn't in a huge hurry but waiting 10 days for a call back is ridiculous. He never did call. So I checked out YELP which led me to Tim's Plumbing. Their website stated he returns all calls within 10 minutes. I'm thinking NO contractor in N Idaho does that... they are mostly all like Mr Moon-lighter... no call backs or no shows. So I gave Tim a call... 15 minutes later he calls me back with an apology for calling back late. Who is this guy?
We set up a time to meet the next day for an estimate. He walks me through his analysis, and makes several recommendations re: product replacement selections. He even suggests I could purchase the products on my own from Lowes, Home Depot, etc to save a buck and he would be happy to install those. We decided on having him use his own professional sources for a more robust product. He then offered to start the job immediately as he had a slot available.
Tim is licensed and bonded, extremely professional, conscientious, and just a flat out likable guy. I like to think of myself as very discerning of people and personalities and I saw no red flags what so ever with Tim.
The day after his installations, he calls me back to ask if everything is still running smoothly and if i am still satisfied... WHO DOES THAT?
I would most definitely use Tim again and recommend him without the slightest hesitation.
