Had Tim's plumbing come over and check out a leak between the upstairs bathroom floor and the kitchen ceiling. The plumber replaced the pipe leading from the sink drain to the main wastewater drain. He showed me the pipe and said it was cracked. I've never done any real plumbing work, but the pipe looked fine to me. Unfortunately, I let him take the old pipe with him (lesson learned - keep whatever was replaced until you're 100% sure the problem is solved).

I had just gotten out of the hospital (after spending ~6 months there) so I was in no shape to attempt this repair myself.

All said, the leak is still present, I believe it's a leak in the flashing around the drain on the roof. Tim's plumbing took me for about $600 dollars on this "repair" job. The strange thing is that I had worked with Tim for about 3 or 4 years before he started his business, and Tim had been an excellent coworker. Tim didn't even remember who I was, and I had worked with him closely day in and day out (another lesson learned - just because you think you know someone, the feeling isn't necessarily mutual).

I will never use Tim's Plumbing again. Nor will I recommend him to anyone. Thanks, Tim, ol' buddy.
