We recently replaced our 15-year-old A/C unit with Timo's. We requested bids from Timo's (new to us) and from another local place (one that we had an existing relationship with). Timo's sent a knowledgable representative to our home and walked us through the entire process. The other company sent an email and no follow-up. The two quotes were similar. Guess who we decided to do business with?

The day of the install was a little long and stressful (a crane, an antiquated HVAC system, an issue that was complicated to troubleshoot, etc.), but the team was professional, answered all our questions, and left us feeling confident that we'd made the right choice.

BUT HERE'S THE IMPETUS FOR MY REVIEW TODAY: Flash forward several weeks. We're having some plumbing-adjacent work done at our home and water starts pouring from the unit in our kitchen ceiling. Rain in your kitchen is almost always bad news. The issue had nothing to do with the work Timo's had done for us but they arrived at our home promptly and quickly troubleshot and fixed the indoor precipitation that our contractor had unknowingly unleashed.

BUT IT GETS BETTER: Sam called us back a day later to check up on us, to ensure that things were still going well. They weren't. Another completely unrelated plumbing issue had occurred and it had even less to do with the A/C than the prior issue. Sam (also a plumber, as it turns out) tried to help us troubleshoot it over the phone, made some suggestions, and offered to stop by to help. In the end, we didn't take him up on his offer to stop by, but he correctly identified the issue and we worked with our contractor to resolve it.

If this doesn't convince you that Timo's (or at least Sam!) will go out of their way to earn your business and your trust, I don't know what will.

Chris Smith was a great and actually came back as he felt he over looked something and was able to bring the price down to just a few hundred dollars all in. This the most honest A/C company in the history of AC. I will update you as an avid yelper on their yearly plan of which they maintain the unit. I have have finally found a gem in in Palm Springs. FYI they came out almost immediately but they would have been worth the wait. This is not the teachers union these are people who are not out to sit it out they work and care.

We decided to replace our very old but functioning air conditioners (2) before the summer. Received 3 bids...all around the same price. We decided to go with Timo's because of their outstanding customer service. In person and on the phone.
Before the first employee arrived they confirmed the appt and sent a picture of him. All along the process they confirmed the times and were very prompt. They were careful and respectful of our property. Even their truck was spotless!
I hope to continue to receive outstanding service from Timo's.

Absolutely fantastic service from Dawn who fit me in for an emergency on the day before Easter to Chris Smith, our device technician, who was fantastic. Air conditioning is critical when living in the desert and I am so glad Timo's has our back! Cannot recommend highly enough!
