In regards to my previous review and the owners response. The 3 times I requested for what I needed started on August 8th which was well BEFORE the storm. When I called your office on Saturday August 19 is the first time YOU ARE AWARE OF ME CALLING, and if you listen to that conversation you'll see I was frustrated because I had asked Ken repeatedly for something I still hadn't received! You're Using the storm is a cop out as I sent Ken an email on August 12th @ 5:45 pm. (I can certainly send you that email) Asking for a response on a question about an email from my HOA about the install . I called Ken on Monday August 14th the week before the storm. and we spoke and I told him I still needed the docs for my HOA which he said he'd get me but had to have the office do it. When I still hadn't received the docs I needed from him I called your office on Saturday August 19 and spoke to Monica Gomez who apologized and promised me Ken would call me on Monday. He works remotely which Dawn Batts made extremely clear during our conversation on Tuesday August 22 , so the office being closed is a non issue. My issue is not so much with your office but with Ken who was my point of contact. Why I had to ask him repeatedly for a simple spec sheet since August 8th for my HOA is beyond me. I also left him a message on Monday August 21 letting him know if I didn't hear from him by Tuesday I'd go else where. Perhaps you should speak to Ken and ask him why he's too busy to pick up the phone to respond to a customer who's asked him for something before the storm?
You need to go back and listen to the ""said recording on Tuesday August 22 "" being closed because of the storm never came into the conversation with Dawn! She just kept saying"" Ken doesn't do that or this"", and that's when I said, ""it sounds like a bunch of excuses""., nothing to do with you being closed because of the storm. So trying to spin this that I'm a jerk because of excuses due to the storm is pretty shitty on your part! Not to mention how am I to know this since Ken was my only point of contact. In fact on the occasion I did call the office two weeks before the storm to ask a question about the financing I was told , the office doesn't do that you have to talk to Ken.
I work in customer service and I know gaslighting when I see it.

Technician, (Francisco/Pancho) Frankie Castillo, really knows his stuff! He diagnosed the problem with our newly-installed ACs in less than 15 minutes. No charge, since Timo's had done the work and had forgotten to install the long-term filter that only needs changing 1x/year. Frankie took time to explain what ""air conditioning"" means! I always thought it was just cold air being blown--
I had no idea that installing a return in a room would suck up warm air and cool the room (with less expense and hassle of installing a mini split).
All the staff, are friendly, unobtrusive--no bother, no BS. Miguel didn't try to upsell me. Easy financing. Quick response, quick installation. Waiting to see if the installation lowers our KwH usage, or if the oversight meant more Edison isage (though we have SunRun solar).
So far, so good.

This morning the repair man came out to install new ductwork. They spent two hours removing all ductwork and rerouting the new ductwork so that all things would work much better. their work was excellent. They were kind and considerate, and answered all of our questions. I would recommend these gentlemen to anyone it was Alan and his partner.

It was a 112 degree day and my a/c went out. Chris, the technician, arrived and was even able to come a little earlier than expected (yeah) and saved the day. It was just a bad thermostat that I had - what a relief. Chris was a breath of fresh air- knowledgeable about the system; friendly; clean; not pushy (some techs always have to push to upgrade sell - makes you not want to return- Timo's doesn't do that- thank you); he gave me what I needed; recommended certain things, but didn't cram it down my throat. The AC at this house has been wonky since we bought it, but something broke, and suddenly we were sleeping in the living room, the only cool room in the house.
Timo sent Robert over at 8:30am, and he reviewed the whole system, inside and out, and up in the attic. Replaced the failed capacitor that kept one pump from running at all. Listened to our other issues, and made recommendations, including with photos of what he'd seen in the attic.
Based on the info, I got a small upgrade to the system, as well as the repair.
At all times, from the moment he arrived, Robert was friendly, articulate, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions and explain what he'd found. He explained his recommendations clearly, as well as what order would be most appropriate, and what considerations to use to decide on them. I never felt like I was being sold, but was being educated on how the system worked, and what was and wasn't done well in its design and installation, some duct layouts as much as 50 years old, while the main pumps are only about seven years old.
If this guy is an example of Timo's workforce, you won't do better than calling them.

Our AC stopped suddenly. Recently purchased, we were relieved that we had a home warranty to cover repairs like this. Or so we thought.

The contracted AC company didn't have an available appointment for 2 weeks. After futile attempts to get the warranty company to hire another repair service, we decided to search for one that might be available sooner.

When Timo's said that could be there on the same day, we decided that the 2-week wait was not worth it.

Timo's Robert arrived on time and spent 3 hours checking out every aspect of our air conditioning system. He replaced the capacitor and convinced us sign up for a membership that included two system checks per year and a 20% discount on any needed service (including today's repair).

Robert's knowledge was extensive. But his willingness to explain what he was doing while he was doing it was unlike any other repairman I've experienced before.

I'm very please with Timo's and Robert. Highly recommend!!
The cost of $525 seemed reasonable considering how meticulous Robert was and that it also included the $125 membership.
