Terrible experience. Had used Brad before so had trust that he would do a good job. He came to my house to see my problem of a boiler sidearm leaking. He concluded that boiler and sidearm would need to be replaced. He quoted $8700. He returned the next day with a quote of $11380. He said I should pay paypal for $7380. He pulled out the boiler and sidearm though an exterior door by hitching a tow strap to his truck and damaged the door. He told me, at the end of the day, about the door and I was left with no heat, no hot water and an askew door that was leaking cold air into the house. Came back next day, blamed me for the door, yet fixed it. New boiler and sidearm delivered. He said I needed to pay an addition $2000 before he would continue. I asked for a receipt for the boiler and sidearm. He called and in a loud voice told me he couldn't get the receipt and he needed the money to pay his mortgage. I told him I would not pay further until I knew the items were paid for. A salesman from the supply house later called and said Brad had paid. I paid additional $2000 to paypal on a new invoice he had created. He created 2 more invoices in paypal over the weekend for a total of $2365. He came on Mon., went to the boiler room and then disappeared. Got a call 20 minutes later, (he had left the job with all his tools and the fittings he had bought for the job), with him talking in a loud voice saying I needed to pay everything since he was living paycheck to paycheck or he would not complete the job.
I contacted another installer who completed the job. Please, for your sake, DO NOT HIRE THIS PLUMBER!
