My name is Tim; I started roofing as a kid for my family. Later, I transitioned to building homes for friends, honing my skills in the trade. I became skilled and took on additional work after my shifts as a pizza maker. By the age of 17, I was eager to embark on a career in this field, but my journey led me to cooking. Now, at 24, I feel equipped to establish my reputation and am grateful for the opportunities and projects ahead. With that said, I am confident in providing clients with quality work at a fair price. I strive to develop and make my clients very happy.

Not a good guy. He's not honest and does not know much about construction it seems. But he demanded that I pay him but he did a half to nothing job. It really sucks that there are folks that will continue to be fooled by Tim.

Tim did a great job painting our fence. He was efficient, clean, and arrived when he said. He responded quickly when communicated with. Thanks Tim!

Tim is a great worker. Very detailed and fast. Very impressed with his work on our patio and decks!

The work that Tim did was great, however he is extremely flaky. Had to re-schedule multiple times because he didn't show up. Never called or texted in advance to reschedule. There were multiple times we spent the entire day waiting for him. I would recommend Tim if you have the time to be at home all day and can deal with flakiness.

Tim is professional, on time and terrific at communicating the specific issues and costs involved in the work he does.

Never showed up for his appointment. I texted Tim on Friday at 4:50 pm to confirm the appointment for Saturday and received a reply at 4:51 pm with a ""YES"" reply from Tim. I also called Tim on Saturday and left him a voice message to find out if he was going to show up but he never returned called me back.
Never showed up.

Tim is a thief. I mean that literally.
Finding a good handyman is next to impossible, as another reviewer mentions, and when I found Tim on YELP, he sounded perfect.
I called, he returned the call right away. Came when he told me he was going to (both to see the problem and then to estimate the cost with his girlfriend in tow). He came up with a very good solution to the problem (we needed to have a dog-door replaced and he suggested, since the back door itself was warped, let's replace the entire back door and then put the new dog door into it).
Because I liked Tim, I gave him a $150 advance for the new door (we had the dog door).
Big mistake.
He showed up with the door on time, and when I said I didn't like the looks of it, he agreed immediately to change out the door, and return next week.
Now is when things get funky.
He didn't return on the appointed day, nor did he call to explain. I texted him for four days straight and finally on the fifth day he texted me and said he was out of town, will call when he gets back.
One week goes by. Two weeks go by.
I send texts. No answer. I call, no answer. This goes on for about 3-4 weeks.
Finally, I wrote to him and said to please just send my money back, I can't wait forever for a friggin door.
One week goes by. Two weeks go by. Three weeks go by.
Finally now I'm angry and told him that I would give him a lousy review on YELP if he didn't return my money. He immediately texted me back and promised to send it right away.
One MONTH goes by. TWO months go by.
Now, the one thing I hate in life is chasing down creditors. I never lend money for this purpose, but because I come from a blue-collar family, and Tim seemed to be a honest hard worker, I advanced the $150.
Two MORE months go by.
Finally I couldn't deal with it any longer, I told him to keep the damn money and I'll write the review.
So here it is.
Like in another ""bad"" review for Tim here, I feel totally used, taken advantage of because I was a nice guy (yes, i.e. ""fool""). How hard is it to put a check in the mail, or for that matter reply to texts at all?
I cannot figure out why Tim's other reviews are so positive. It's as if we were dealing with two different men -- or maybe his friends wrote the reviews?

Tim was great! Got my outdoor lights and 2 ceiling fans installed. Took a while, but he went above and beyond the call of duty to make it happen. Very reasonable, funny and good work. Thanks Tim!

Timothy came in and fixed several old walls on our house that where all cracked from the previous renter ..the quality was amazing outstanding.. Plus he gave me a decent price ..

Based on the favorable reviews, I hired Tim to do some ceiling patching work for a rental townhouse. I found that the positive reviews were quite accurate. Tim demonstrated a lot of experience with this kind of work, but more importantly, he brought his upbeat, can-do attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, and persistence to stick to the task until it was done. These were all characteristics I appreciated very much. The work I asked him to do turned out to be much more troublesome than I first thought, but much to Tim's credit, he stayed on top of it. He also kept me updated and requested approval throughout the entire process. I applaud Tim for helping me and my tenant through a difficult weekend. Thank you Tim!
