DO NOT HIRE TIM PERRY PLUMBING! We obtained his services to install all new plumbing in two bathroom remodels. We tried to get a quote, but was told it would be time and material. Not knowing he would charge 1/2 hr travel from his shop in Atascadero to our home in Paso Robles (11.9 miles/17 min. drive) plus 1 hr minimum on site, it was quite a shock. He charged travel at a plumbing rate of $95/hr and $65/hr for helper with a min. of 1 hr on site. There were numerous trips for various reasons during the remodel and it was a long time before we got the first bill, which was $1,400.00!. We supplied all Moen fixtures, trim, valves, and tub. He did not itemize time or materials on bill. We should have kept track of the time, but trusted he would be fair. During the last phase of the job, Tim sent out 2 plumbers to install a toilet and a faucet. After they left the faucet leaked and the toilet did not flush right. I requested a bill for the work and he not only charged me two guys 1/2 hr travel, but also to run parts to Ferguson to get a wax ring and a P-trap, which they should of had on the truck. Both my husband and I were home and kept tract of their time. They spent 1.75 hours to do the work, which included their trip to Fergusons to run parts. When I got the bill, it was $513.82, I was shocked again. Charging for travel and running parts is unheard of! This time we disputed the bill and told Tim they were not here for 3 hours. His response was that he went off of time sheets. Again, we told him, we didn't care what they put on their time sheets and would only pay for for the time they were here, which was really 1.25 hrs because the other 1/2 was to run parts . This really concerned us because we really don't know how much he overcharged us on the $1,400.00. We ended up hiring another plumber, Quality One, to finish the job and was absolutely awesome! Very efficient, did not overcharge for time and no charge for travel. Quality One was very reasonable in price!

Pin hole leak in copper cold mainline weld and was referred to Tim Perry from someone I know that owns rentals and used a lot of plumbers over the years. He highly recommended Tim Perry Plumbing. I have used many plumbers over the years and have to say thank God, I found a keeper. Very prompt, courteous, clean and knowledgable. My husband said it would have taken him countless trips to the hardware store and hours to do what this guy did in less than an hour. So impressed with his prices that I am getting a bid to replace all the re- plumbing to PEX and new valves. He had everything needed to make a quick haste of the job. We cut out the drywall for access but he job required going from a half to quarter inch, with a T and then a receptacle for the soft water hook up. Turned on the main line and now have water, no leaks and a professional job well done. Highly recommend this plumber! He will be my go to guy for any plumbing issues.

Tim is a reliable plumber who responds quickly, leaves work areas clean, solves challenging plumb gin issues, and has very fair pricing. He did the plumbing on my entire remodel of a 1950's house--a great job! He has returned several times for added projects. I feel fortunate to know which plumber to call!

I contacted Tim Perry Sr. and vetted him regarding a thankless water replacement with an exact duplicate.
He sent his son with some 30 years less experience instead of doing it himself.
Jr. Had troubled with the installation and had to call the mfg tech representative for advice for which he charged me $ 75.00 per hour for the education.
Jr. Preformed unnecessary work which added significant cost to the work order
Jr. Charged $ 81.00 for materials
Jr. overcharge padded the hours by ¼ of a hour.
I contacted Sr. with concerns about the excessive costs.
Sr. investigated and got back to me and indicated Jr. Overcharged $ 49.00 on the $ 81.00 for materials and did have to seek help from the Manufacture to complete the job.
Sr offer a $ 100 credit for the overcharges and indicate he would send a rebate check
A check was never received 30 days after the offer.
Ask yourself why did Jr. Overcharge 60% for material. Does the customer pay for the lack of knowledge on the plumber part. Why did I have to pay for unnecessary work? Are there serious ethical questions. Before you hire either.

Very competent, flexible hours. His prices are fair and you don't feel like your getting ripped off. Got the job done, clean! Very skilled pleasant individual. Knows what he's doing. Will always go to Tim for our plumbing needs.
