Tiho Plumbing was awesome! We had a leaking valve under the sink and we needed a plumber right away. He said he would be at our place in 30 - 45 minutes. He was here in less than 30 minutes. Once we told him the problem, he had it fixed right away. He was quick and very professional.

Tiho came to our home because of course, a plumbing emergency . He arrived within 20 minutes and got to work straight away. The issue we had was not as straight forward as we had hoped, he located the blockage and fully described what needed to be done, after a quick run to our local Ace store (another plus in my mind, not a box store but, locally owned franchise) he was back and got to work, he didn't even mind me watching what he was doing ( I have worked in the home repair industry a long time and have come across my share of contractors that "make up repairs") he also took the time to show me the old pipe after removal. He then cleaned up the mess left from the tub and sink backing up and washed down our front porch where he accessed the kitchen clean out. He is very much a gentleman, pleasant, easy to talk to, hard working self employed professional. All in all an extremely enjoyable emergency! PS..., Our landlord is also very pleased he is adding him to his list of contractors to use again, so I am also figuring his prices are not bad either...

Tiho was called for a sewer being plugged up. He was instructed that he would need a snake or other means to clear it out. He was informed that the clog was between 50 and 75 feet. He first said it was the cities responsibility. Then the city cleared their side. Tiho then returned. Without a snake and without a hose. He then borrowed a garden hose to try to unclog. He unclogged a little bit. He then returned after problem was still there. Tried to charge for each trip. Then he rented a snake. Still did not get clog. Then blamed the clog on the city again.

He was not professional, lack of communication, and not prepared.

I met Tiho when he was doing some work for my sister. He was pleasant and friendly, and my sis and her boyfriend raved about his skill and his work ethic. Given the other reviews he's gotten on this site, they aren't the only ones who felt that way. I gave him a call when I was having problems with a sprinkler flood (not indoor plumbing, but water/pipe related all the same). He came right out, assessed the problem, and told me he could fix it (whew!).

Tiho did the work skillfully and efficiently, explaining what the problem was and how he was fixing it. His demeanor immediately put me at ease; he's so warm and personable, yet I could tell he'd take care of the problem, with no BS. He did great work, quickly and efficiently, and even gave me a referral for some general contracting work I'm thinking about having done (given his own character and work ethic, I have no qualms about trusting his judgement on a referral). His bill (as others have mentioned) was EXTREMELY reasonable.

It's not difficult to understand why Tiho has earned so much admiration (and 5-star reviews) from others, if he treated them as well as he treated me. He is a skilled workman who takes pride in his work, and who does what he says he'll do. He's clearly not afraid of getting his hands dirty (which is why you'll find he seals his deals with a fist bump rather than a handshake), and he's charming without any hint of schmooze. He's a great guy in general, and has definitely earned my loyalty!

Tiho has earned my future business. My tenant reported a leak; it was more than I could handle.
Tiho answered my call on the first attempt; took my information; arrived much quicker than anticipated; fixed my leaking outside valve for less than he quoted; and followed up with me.

I have worked with shady plumbers before; so I am happy that Tiho is an honest, hard working fellow. I found him through Yelp, so I appreciate the candidness of the reviewers. Tiho deserves to stay in business.

There are not enough superlatives in the English (or any other) language to express the quality of Tiho's work or his character. Tiho is an example of an exceptional person in addition to being an incredibly skilled tradesman. He has restored my faith in those who profess to be "contractors."

After being promised the sun, the moon, and the stars from another contractor, I was left with leaky pipes, no water in the kitchen for 1.5 weeks, no replacement of faucets and disposal (as per the agreement), and the "over-stove" microwave sitting on the counter.

I made the decision to call Tiho and he swooped in like an angel and fixed the problems caused by the "other guys." Not only did he solve the obvious issues, Tiho identified potential problems caused by short-cuts taken by the "other guys." Oh my gosh...there are no words to express my gratitude to Tiho.

In addition to his superb ability to plumb, he's an amazingly great person. I am honored to have met somebody with true integrity.

Call Tiho for your plumbing questions, needs, or problems. He is honest...do not worry about being "had." Tiho's character is forthright and moreover, he's reliable. As Joel F., a former yelp poster stated, "This is the type of business that you should be able to give 6 stars to." Hmmmm.....I would even say 10 stars!

Our new property management company hired Tiho to fix the garbage disposal and unclog the shower drain at our new place. He was fast, professional, friendly and tidy--he left no mess and even put all the stuff back under the kitchen sink when he was done! Within an hour, he replaced the garbage disposal and removed the nearly solid matter from the shower drain. Did I mention he also had to make a trip to Lowe's? Tiho is honest and hard working, and doesn't lolligag--he just gets the job done! If you hire another plumber, you are insane, because I'm telling you right now, Tiho is the only guy you should call!

A very respectful and honest man, is who I see. I had the same plumber for almost 24 years who I trusted completely but I think this gentleman is going to take his place now that the other plumber has retired! I just hope he doesn't get too busy so that I have to wait in a long line for his help!
