Tiho is amazing! I called him on Friday night after returning home to find an outside pipe had burst and water was everywhere. He arrived the next morning to fix it and he was super fast with his work. He even replaced some of the plastic fittings for metal and installed an additional value. And he is such a nice person and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend working with Tiho.

Called Tiho Sunday night around 8:30pm to schedule an appointment, and by the next day around 8am, he was at my front door. Tiho was very friendly and I enjoyed how we got to know each other while he worked on the sink's garbage disposal. Tiho arrived around 8am, assessed the leak from the garbage disposal, he left to get the parts, came back, worked on it and was done by 9:45am. I truly appreciate Tiho's quick response from showing up first thing in the morning, and getting the job done from start to finish in less than 2 hours. A 3-year-old, a toilet and a whole roll of toilet paper do not go well together. After plunge, plunge, plunge, it cleared - but, we developed a leak that came through the ceiling to the kitchen below. At the same time, my old water heater decided to start a slow drip out the bottom. I called around and was quoted ridiculous prices - some way too much and others so low, I didn't trust them. Then I checked Yelp and saw Tiho had a very good rating. So I called him.

We set an appointment for today at 3. Unfortunately, my cell phone was charging and I did not get his calls or texts to make sure I was home. He assumed I wasn't here and went out on another job. It was after 5 when I saw he had tried to contact me and I text him back. He was already home after a long day. He asked if he could come in the morning, but I wasn't going to be home. So, even though I didn't answer his phone calls/texts, and he was a good 30 minutes away with traffic, he came right out! I knew he wasn't going to be happy, I know I wasn't. But, when I opened the door, he had a big smile and asked....who is more unhappy right now - you or me?? We both laughed and he gave me a hug.

This plumber is great. He got right to work. He had my water heater draining while he fixed the leak in the toilet upstairs. He gave me advice on the bathroom remodel I will be doing shortly and told me to make sure the contractor does certain things before laying tile, etc. He had the heater installed in no time and explained how it works. He showed me the corrosion on the old water heater and explained why my pressure wasn't great. He also took apart my kitchen faucet to do some adjusting and improve the water pressure when he noticed it was running slower than it should. All this took him an amazingly short time and he cleaned up. Most would have rushed through the job to get out and back home, but he took the time to do the little extras. For $1400 he did a lot of work and I couldn't be happier. If I ever need a plumber again, I know who I will call. He's good, he takes the time to explain everything, and he charges a very reasonable price.

He also explained to me why he always calls first before coming over. He's had people make appointments, he blocks off the time and drives to their home only to find they either forgot or changed their minds and aren't home. So, it made sense to me why he didn't come when I didn't answer. Sorry Tiho. Next time I need a plumber, I will definitely call you and I promise to answer my phone when you call to make sure I'm here!

We had Tiho based on his yelp rating and were not disappointed. He came when scheduled and did an amazing job installing new faucets, fixing the main valve coming into the house, replacing toilets and traps. The house was sold as it, and Tiho did one amazing job. He used only top quality materials and yet his price was within reason.We had a plumber for 21 years and he is no longer available as he has too much work. I just hope Tiho keeps us as customers as he was excellent. I would recommend him without qualification. He works hard and is very professional. Overall service was beyond anything I could expect. He is as good as it gets.

Since my last review we have had Tiho do work at our house for a second issue, two of my sisters have hired him for plumbing issues at their homes, and my boyfriend's parents hired him while they were remodeling their bathrooms. I am Mr. Fixit and can do almost anything as long as it does not include water. When my water heater of over 15 years in age began showing signs of leaking I thought I'd give it the old college try and fix it myself. After a few quick yanks on the pipe with my wrench, I had an even bigger leak and realized the problem was not a pipe but the entire water heater. Like you, I looked here in Yelp and found Tiho Plumbing with 5 stars and 42 reviews. After reading each and every review I called Tiho at 9:30 AM and gave him my tale of woe. He said he'd be right over, and within 15 minutes he was there, ready to work. He quoted me a reasonable price, I agreed, and he began work at once. He worked very quickly and efficiently to remove the old unit (which he hauled away!) and install the new unit. It is 1:30 PM and my unit is already heating the water for my much-deserved next shower. Tiho was great and I think the 5 stars he got from everyone else is well-deserved. He did not cut any corners, but did everything accurately and according to code. I watched most of what he did, and he did not even charge me extra for being in his way. I think he did an outstanding job and I am pleased to add my 5-star rating to the roster of happy patrons. I must add that I was initially worried about dealing with a plumber because of past experiences, but Tiho has put those fears to rest. Like others before me, I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. I have posted his phone number in my address book ... he is the only one I'll ever need to call.

Tiho came with a few hours notice and fixed a badly sealed toilet that was getting ready to leak through to my kitchen below. He is courteous, polite and explains everything as he goes. He did a great job and is a pleasure to work with.
