If I could rate them less the one star I would. This company is a scam and will over charge you for services. Try to talk you into expensive services that have nothing to do with why they were called in the first place. Then will call you when services are complete and threaten to send you to collection because a TIGER REPRESENTATIVE PROVIDED THE FINANCE COMPANY WITH OUR INCORRECT CONTACT INFO. If you extra money you want to be flushed please call them and give them your business otherwise they will try to rip off the working man and threaten you because the front office can't do there damn job. Do not use this company they should be put out of business for dishonesty!!!!!!!!

Originally called to have a water heater replaced. They guy they sent out immediately looks at our galvanized pipes and says they need replaced. 12.5k payment for what took half a day. After the plumbers left, the toilet would not flushed. They came back and fixed it no problem. But now the toilet is running hot water. About another two weeks later, one of our pipes they did not work on conveniently breaks. They come back out again and say they cannot fix it, but have to replace it for another 900.00.

Can't say I recommend them due to all the issues that have occurred since they did the incredibly expensive pipe job originally. And after looking at additional reviews and reddit post about them, they do seem to be a scammy company. I'd recommend a local, non nationwide company.

Called about a shower faucet with low water pressure and volume. Explained the history to the tech and showed him the problem. Without doing any additional research, I was told by the tech that the shower cartridge wall valve box was clogged and needed to be replaced. Was quoted with a $1,700.00 repair quote. After the tech left I did some more research and found that the shower faucet cartridge was defective. I replaced it for $65.00 and now have a functioning shower. If I enrolled in their monthly club they would reduce the repair price accordingly.

Buyer beware of Tiger Plumbing. I contacted them due to a clogged drain. The technician cleared some of the clog and then sent a camera down the drain. The camera discovered roots, and the technician pulled the camera back and began to tell me how to fix the problem. Immediately, the technician told me I needed to excavate and replace an entire section of the pipe, and the cost would be 13 to $15,000. The clog was not fixed, and he left 1.5 inches of backed up water in my basement shower. I showed the technician the water, and he still left. Agreed there were roots therefore I asked if there were other options to get me through this situation until a later date and he said no.I called another company who came the following day and within 2 hours the clog was pushed through, and the camera discovered the same roots. With another tool they called the ""chain knocker"" the roots were cleared away from within the pipe. This now allows me to plan and be strategic about future decisions. Furthermore, Tiger told me I did not have an outside clean out and wanted to include that in the price of the job, however, the second company found it immediately. The total cost from the second company was $650 because he had to knock out the roots. Beware of Tiger Plumbing. They did not fix the clog and only gave me one option. Tiger charged me $350 to clear the drain, which they did not and to send a camera into the drain, yes they did that. They attempted upsell me to only one option. I may need to do more extensive work in the future, but I do not trust Tiger at all. I feel that an attempt was made to scam me and my family up to 13 to $15,000 dollars. Scam is a harsh word, but catastrophizing a problem to sell a customer an unnecessary product or service is immoral.

The lesson here is stay away from Tiger Plumbing and with any job always get a second opinion

The worst business ever. Never again, YELP, or Tiger. Nothing good to say about anything regarding Tiger. Would never refer anybody to use them.
Rude, nasty, bait & switch, hide the ball, etc., they hit all the negatives possible.

Writing this to warn so others don't go through what we have.

Stay far away from Tiger HVAC & Plumbing. Back in march we called them out for a new garbage disposal. Their employee, David loveless, told us if we sign up for their monthly club we will save $250 off for the install of a new system. We signed up and received the $250 discount. They called us a couple months later saying we owe them $250, even though our online portal account shows $0 balance. We have explained to them that the $250 they're claiming we owe was the discount their employee provided, and they agreed. Today we received a notice in the mail saying we have been sent to collections. Conveniently this happens after we cancelled our monthly membership with them (because they were going to charge us $10,000 more for a new AC unit than we were quoted elsewhere, which is another story in and of itself). Please just save yourself the hassle and do not call them!

My daughter called Tiger Electric to provide an estimate to fix a bathroom light fixture, which was causing a major issue with all the upstairs bedrooms-actually affected 5 separate rooms. Tiger showed up in a timely manner. The two technicians inspected the light fixture and told my daughter she needed her house rewired. It was build in the 1920's. The wiring is cloth insulated. The continued their inspection and told her she'd be receiving three estimates for three levels of ""repair"".

I spoke with the technicians on the phone after receiving the estimates to get clarification on ""terms"". I then sent a request to the company email asking to respond in writing to the clarifications. It's been two full work days and no response. In comparison, the initial estimate was provided within an hour of the technicians leaving her home. But clarifications take over two (not received yet) full work days!? Also, they were prompt in sending a link to obtain financing from ""GoodLeap"" loan company which has received 422 Better Business Bureau (BBC) complaints in the last 12 months and has a 4.15 average rating from 1,784 customer and has an ""A"" rating and is accredited. The BBC has received 14 complaints concerning Tiger in the last 12 months and has an average BBC 2 star rating/C- and is not BBB accredited.

One of the estimates included installing earth ground because there was no ground detected. Earth ground is in place at the meter which was inspected. One of the clarifications was a statement in the estimate about a maximum amount of wire for each room - 50 feet. Do the math, an outlet on each wall in a 10 X 10 room plus a ceiling fixture...more than 50 feet. The on site technicians stated that was just for estimate purposes and they'd use as much wire as necessary with no additional charge for the wire. They also told me if they had to go behind the wall all repairs to that damage would be the owners responsibility. That statement gives them absolute freedom to use the simplest method to run wire - tear into the wall instead of ""fishing"" wire using the existing wire when possible.

Draw your own conclusions but mine would be don't hire this company. The three estimates were $20K, $26K, and $35K. The issue was fixed by an electrician recommended by a friend. The repair was done in about 2 hours and the electrician charged my daughter $100.

Don't do business with this company! If my daughter hadn't looped me in she would be spending over 23K for a $100 repair. We know the old wiring needs to be replaced, eventually...the rewire will NOT be done by Tiger Electric.

Contacted Tiger company for Freon refill R410, I was told $99 fee would go towards Freon, tech said it's half low, showed me a bill for $607, the whole unit barely hold 4lbs ?! Asked for an itemized invoice over the phone, didn't get it other than same blank page showing $607.
Will be disputing this, if you want an overpriced company which lives on $99 service fee, Tiger is your go to, research their BBB rating before you fall in same trap.
-- Tech turned off the unit to preform his test, then left without putting the switch back in ON position.

Needed a wall switch replaced. Simple job, 5 minutes. They called me to set up appointment at least 4 times, but when I asked for an estimate of the cost, they hung up. Finally, one rep said he does the scheduling for my area and he would have localworker call me with quote. NOBODY ever called. He wouldn't give me a local person's number. I think this is a scam not unlike Angi
