William W.My furnace went out in the middle of the night so I called a heating and cooling company. After it was checked out, I was told that I had lost electricity to my furnace and would need an electrician. So I called Tiger heating and cooling. I explained what was wrong and they sent out an electrician that same day. The technician was very polite and showed up when he said he would be there. Within a half hour, he had my furnace back up and running. I would recommend this business for any of your household needs.
If I could rate this company with a minus 1 star I would. Not only did the tech insist on being paid with a check BEFORE he even started, but he was caught on camera putting the item that WE purchased at a local hardware store, in the back of his van, along with the receipt. Pretended that he did not know what we were talking about, but he finally gave the receipt of purchase back to us.
The second issue was that no only did the tech NOT know what he was doing, but he kept giving excuses as to why he could not install the product that they PREVIOUSLY said could be done in 15 or 20 minutes. Each time we called the company, we kept getting excuses about why no one has came out to do the job (even though a check was given to the tech). We called several times and were told that someone would be out the next day, called again, and told that someone would be out the next day, the next day, and finally told that no one was coming back to our home. I suppose this company only services a certain demographic of people that resemble their own skin color! DO NOT use this company, they will waste your time, and treat you like a second class citizen!
They came to clean our sewer and they broke their auger in our sewer and left it!! Did not tell us about it! When we needed for them to do our sewer again, the person who came out said"" the person who did your sewer the last time broke his auger, but couldn't remember which house he was at. So, we need to get it out before I can do anything because I don't want to break mine. We have financing...."" I told my husband no way are we paying them to remove their auger out of our sewer that they broke and left in there. We have called them everyday. Now they won't call us back after we spoke to them nicely about the matter and they said they would have to talk to the district manager. I found this person and emailed them and we haven't heard back from them either.
For at least the last 2 years I have been patiently working with your company to get the issue rectified. Your technicians damaged the ceiling in my bedroom walk-in closet. Each time they were in my home, they failed to put any drop cloths on my clothing, leading to several hundred dollars worth of dry cleaning. I have spoken to your care representative Missy on multiple occasions to rectify the ceiling. She sent one 'company' in to give an estimate. Actually, it was just a guy that now knows where I live, the layout of my house, and where my bedroom is located. He ghosted her and never called her back. So now, she has sent in another guy. I brought up my concerns that I didn't want some strange man in my house and she assured me he was reputable. 2 months later, and here we ae with no repairs, no peeps out of Missy, and yet another strange man knowing where I live, the layout of my house, and where my bedroom is located. I went to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau, but low and behold, your company is not endorsed by them. This review is directed at Mr. Todd Kiefer, or Mr. Jeff Gamblin. Please follow up in regards to this. Thank you.
Overpricing, horrendous customer service, and a complete lack of professionalism. would avoid this company completely. absolute clowns.
Bill P.ok SECOND complaint in the last 9 days. my first complaint, TODD from tiger advised me to call Missy, customer care manager she would take care of me. I left a voice mail 4-26-23....still waiting for a call back.
AVOID DUE TO 'DIAGNOSTIC FEE' SCAM: I was seeking an estimate for air duct and dryer vent cleaning services. Having not had this service before, I called Tiger on April 3, 2023 for a price estimate. During this call Tiger advised that they would need to visit the property in order to provide an accurate estimate ahead of providing the service. On April 4, 2023 Tiger visited my home. The representative completed the inspection of the property. He then told me I had to pay $99 for 'diagnostic and fuel surcharge fees'. I was shocked as I was unaware there was any fee required. After inquiring with their representative further, he contacted someone at the business who (1) confirmed this fee; (2) said that I was 'on a recording' agreeing to this fee; and (3) threatened that a 'lien' would be placed on my home if I did not pay the fee. I asked for a copy of this supposed recording of me agreeing to these terms and received no response. However, I paid the fee as invoiced and advised Tiger, through their representative, that I would be disputing the charges as I felt that this was a scam given that I vehemently dispute being made aware, or ever agreeing to, paying such a fee. Other vendors in the area do not charge this fee and I would put anyone on high alert to avoid Tiger due to the poor customer service, terrible business practices and their 'bait and switch' style of dealing with the public.
Wendell H.I needed a simple T to go from under my sink to the ice maker. 45 minute job. They said they had to run it from under the house, but they used the T under the sink. Charged $800. Wouldn't call back to talk about how it was done. Feel like a FOOL
Mandy W.Don't let these clowns on your property. They ""fixed"" my water heater three times, and I still have water dripping all over the floor. Had a gas leak-- they talked me into replacing all the gas lines under my house. Ameren is here right now fixing two different gas leaks. One is a significant leak. Tiger missed both of them. I'm going to be paying on the home equity loan I took out to pay for all the work they did for the next ten years, and for what? I complained to them about it, and they give zero cares-- no effort to try to make anything right. Total scam artists.
