Johnny was flat out amazing. Exactly what the other reviews said. He's honest and watches out for his customers. Off the bat he said based on the age of my house and the problem I described he said the best option would be a repipe which isn't a service that he offered. That right there told me he was about integrity. In the end I had him do the leak detection and he found it, he even was able to buy me sometime by isolating the line. This guy is super knowledgeable and so willing to help. He's so good I wanted to give him more than he charged because I was so impressed.
The best way I can describe Tier 1 Leak Detection is like when you find a good car mechanic that knows his stuff and doesn't to try to blow smoke and sell you on a bunch of extra stuff. If you see your water meter running late at night when no fixture is going or if you hear activity in the pipes, and you are afraid it's a slab or pinhole leak definitely do yourself a favor and see if Johnny can take a look and help.

I highly recommend Tier 1 Leak Detection / Johnny Fong. Our local water company recommended that I call a leak expert since our water bill was slowly climbing over time. I highly recommend this company, we had an sudden leak in our home and several plumbers who came out only could guess where it could from. I called Several Leak Detection Companies and I am so thankful Tier 1 came out. The owner Johnny and his team came out to detect a leak that was leaking from the floorboards of our kitchen with his gear. Took the time to explain and was very professional. They found the slab leak was able to cap the leak so that we could submit to our insurance company. We have use of water and bathroom until repairs can be made.

Had a slab leak and Johnny and Troy came to my house to verify. Extremely professional, wearing a mask and booties. They took their time and checked EVERYPLACE to ensure that we only had one leak. Gave me the various options to fix the leak and what would be the best for our situation. Above all else, John is a really nice honest guy. After identifying the source of the leak, he wasn't 100% comfortable with the particular brthat needed repair and referred me to a plumber who took care of it.
I hope I never get another leak somewhere else but will call Tier 1 for sure if it happens.

Beyond impressed. Woke up and noticed an active leak from the ceiling in the garage and called my home warranty company. The first company they assigned couldn't come out for over 4 days! Water was dripping from the ceiling. Within hours, I was connected with Jonathan from Tier 1 and from the first conversation he was beyond professional, kind, and easy to work with.
