Trying to find out the cause for the wooden floor turning black in my living room, I called Tier 1 Leak Detection. The owner Johnny responded quickly and came to my house. He detected right away that there is no water leak inside my house and the problem is caused by outside water from the community common area, which goes underground of the living room.
To the many questions I asked, he explained very clearly and very patiently. He also walked me through how to solve the problems in details step by step. I thus know exactly what to do next to have the problem fixed. He also pointed out key points that need to be addressed during the restoration process, even though the restoration is beyond his business scope. Johnny gave me very good price for his detection service.
I am very impressed with Johnny's expertise, professionalism, sincerity, and reliability. He truly cares his customers. I highly recommend Tier 1 Leak Detection and Johnny.

don't write many reviews, but I had to do this one. We developed a main water line leak and I found Tier 1 on Yelp. Johnny, the owner, was professional and responsive, and showed up at the exact time promised to find the leak. He diagnosed it and came back a few days later to fix it. He was once again prompt and texted me his ETA every time. Over several hours he dug up the yard, found the leak, repaired it and cleaned up. Let me mention that between the time he diagnosed it and the next scheduled appointment the leak grew worse, so I called him. Even though it was Labor Day he came to fix it earlier than agreed upon. The cost was reasonable for all the work he did. It is difficult to find a professional, reliable company like Tier 1, and a trustworthy individual like Johnny. Thank you again.

If I can, I want give a ""golden buzzer"" for Jonathan and Tier1. I've never met anyone who is more sincere, honest, reliable, skilled and professional. I was looking for a plumbing company who can detect a water leak under the parking lot. Without the meticulous skill, high-grade tools, saturated experience and discerning ability, this job would have been easily 10's of thousands dollars. His detection skill was precise, so I didn't need to hassle over ""being overcharged"" for ""unable to detect"" situation like many other companies. I did have such experiences even with the big name companies with hundreds of 5 star reviews on Yelp. I was literally in shock to see how he made this job so easy and simple.
On top of that professional skill, Jonathan's character was something that I wish I was his best friend; so trustworthy.

We had a leak under ground and Johnny was able to come out the same day that I contacted him. Upon arrival, Johnny was able to locate the leak fairly quickly. He told me that any licensed plumber can repair this leak and advised me to obtain a few quotes. I knew right away that Johnny was a competent plumber, a good businessman and a honest human being, which is a rarity these days. I asked him for a quote on the spot and he repaired the leaking pipe a few days later. In this day and age where so many repair businesses rip off consumers especially based on zip code, Tier1 Leak Detection gave me hope in humanity. This world needs more professionals like Johnny and his team!

There was moisture coming up from the concrete floor in my garage, and worried it was a slab leak, I contacted several leak detection companies on Yelp.

Johny called me right away, asked for some additional information and gave his opinion. From the information I provided, he said it didn't seem like a slab leak, but if I wanted, he could come out the following Monday and perform leak detection for a reasonable fee (cheaper than other companies).

He was able to come out two days earlier on Saturday, and after visually inspecting the garage and surroundings, and evaluating what I had already done and observed, informed me that it was most definitely not a leak, and likely just moisture from irrigation, combined with sub-standard concrete (poured in the 70s).

He also refused payment since he didn't run any tests. Johny is such an honest and trustworthy professional. I would definitely call this company for future leak detection/plumbing needs.

Leak Detection and Repair. I had a very small leak about .08 gallons/minute outside my house. I had a bad experience with a prior plumber/leak detector, who had supposed found the leak inside my house, and jack hammered through my new wood floor and concrete slab twice after ""finding the leak."" He did not find the leak and ended up just bypassing the leaky pipe. Johnny arrived promptly and quickly discovered the leak's location. After digging out the wet dirt and placing it neatly on a protector for my concrete, he showed me a video he took of the leak. Apparently a prior plumber had improperly placed a fitting, which had cracked. He repaired it in a few hours at a reasonable cost. I certainly will use him again although I don't hope for any future leaks.

I don't know what to say first,
If you have a water leak problem, don't delay and contact Tier 1 leak detection.  Johnny is honest and sincere, never gives up, gets the job done cleanly, and charges the reasonable price or less.
If you choose Tier 1 leak detection, you will never regret and be happy.
I tell you my story
first, there was a huge water leak in the 4plex apartment under slab, so I contacted the E. leak dection company, but since Independence Day was included, I waited a week and first technician searched for 2 days,   Due to incorrect detection, the bathroom floor is unnecessarily torn up and the dry wall is cut off. Finally, they couldn't find it,  so they advised me to do a repipe.  I couldn't give up, so I looked for ""Tier 1 leak detection"" on Yelp, they took 2 days to finally find the two leak from overlapping 2 pipes under slab, and waited a long time for Johnny. I think it was worth it.  Today is Sunday, Johnny's day off, but I can't tell you how grateful I am that he came and finished the work in 8 hours.
Now, I can rest my feet comfortably and sleep well.
