Tidewater Heating & Cooling was first founded as Eastern Shore Geothermal. With the rise in geothermal system installations, we identified a demand for servicing and correcting new installations. In those early days, we focused on smaller projects, which helped us develop a reputation for delivering quality work at competitive prices. With our growing reputation, we took on larger and more complex projects, facilitating our expansion. In 2019, we rebranded to Tidewater Heating and Cooling to better represent our expanding services and to eliminate any misconceptions about our focus on geothermal systems. During this transition, we also acquired Willey’s Plumbing, a respected local business, and welcomed Willey Shorter as our Master Plumber. Today, we continue to expand, with multiple crews ready to install, maintain, and service HVAC and plumbing systems throughout the Mid-Shore.

Joshua Arquiett is from Brasher Falls, NY, a quaint town situated nearer to Canada than to New York City. He holds an AAS in HVAC Engineering Technology from SUNY Canton. His degree equipped him with the essential knowledge to swiftly advance in the field. Upon completing his studies, Josh settled in Easton, Maryland, where he honed his skills and confidence with guidance from coworkers and management, ultimately thinking about starting his own venture after nearly ten years of work. Today, Josh possesses a Master HVAC license and has accumulated 19 years of industry experience.
