Tidewater Heating & Cooling began as Eastern Shore Geothermal. With the rise in geothermal system installations, we identified a demand for servicing and correcting new installations. During our initial years, we completed many smaller jobs, slowly establishing a reputation for quality service at reasonable rates. As word spread, our projects increased in size and complexity, allowing us to grow. In 2019, we rebranded to Tidewater Heating and Cooling to better represent our expanding services and to eliminate any misconceptions about our focus on geothermal systems. We also integrated Willey’s Plumbing, a reputable local business, and retained Willey Shorter as our Master Plumber during this period. Today, we continue to expand, with multiple crews ready to install, maintain, and service HVAC and plumbing systems throughout the Mid-Shore.

Joshua Arquiett is from Brasher Falls, NY, a quaint town situated nearer to Canada than to New York City. He graduated from SUNY Canton with an AAS in HVAC Engineering Technology. This educational background provided him with a strong base to quickly acquire skills in the industry. After college, Josh relocated to Easton, Maryland, where he gained skills and confidence with the support of his coworkers and management, eventually considering starting his own business after about a decade of experience. Now, Josh holds a Master HVAC license and boasts 19 years of experience in the industry.
