My stepdad is a retired disabled veteran who is terminally ill with cancer and had just lost my mom to cancer the prior month. When Mr. Thurston found out about the family situation, he totally cancelled the bill,: parts and labor, of approximately $1,000 so my stepdad could afford some medical bills.
