This is the 2nd time I used Thunderbird Plumbing, first to replace a sink disposal, now (May '24) for a Water Heater replacement. All aspects from Scheduling, Up front Pricing (very fair), Installation and Clean up, Perfect! Joe arrived as scheduled, doubled checked the job, explained what he would be doing, answered all questions. Upon completion Joe double checked all connection (water, gas), set thermostat to previous heater's setting. Explained maintenance and warranty and left their business card attached to the tank for future reference. It was a Real pleasure to have Joe and Thunderbird for my Plumbing needs. Highly Recommend!

My daughter bought a house with a 13 year old water heater which was probably never drained/flushed, nor anode rod ever replaced. The water in the house was just warm, not hot, so we decided to replace the water heater and put in a new Bradford-White Defender gas water heater. I called my guy at Central AZ Supply (Plumbling Supply House) for a recommendation on a good Plumber for Waddell, AZ, and he recommended Thunderbird. So glad he did!! Thunderbird was about $300 - $400 less costly than the other plumbers' quotes. I also asked them to install a new 3/4"" ball valve drain, which they did for just the cost of the materials, and they also provided two replacement anode rods at cost. Their workmanship was top notch and their pricing was very fair.

I asked about installing a water softener and he said he would install any system for $275. I plan on doing my research on the system I want, purchasing that system myself, and then having Thunderbird install it for $275.

I called Thunderbird based on good reviews for free estimate for repairs and installation of new plumbing line. Joseph and coworker arrived on time. Joseph was very courteous, helpful and advised me on repairs with no pressure and alternative suggestion to a costly repair.
I will definitely use them in the future for basic plumbing needs as they don't work on new construction.

Developed a leak under our kitchen sink and gave Thunderbird Plumbing a call and they gave me a 11am-1pm window.
At 11:10 AM they showed up as promised and they took care of the problem in about 30mins.
Excellent service at great prices and this is one company that does not rip you off.

Well today started off with a bang! Go out in the garage and water leaking out of the hot water heater. Called around and got ahold of Thunderbird Plumbing, all I can say is ""WOW ""! These guys came within an hour, two days after Christmas, when I had a houseful of company. Two men came to take care of a leak I had coming from an upstairs bathroom into a downstairs bathroom, also leaking into a light fixture. I was impressed with: the professionalism (explained what they thought the problem was, what they were going to do, kept me informed with each step), the promptness (coming within an hour of my call), their ""pipeside manner"" (like a doctor's ""bedside manner""- very kind and very thorough). Their hunch as to what was wrong proved to be exactly correct. Although I've used good plumbers before, I will call Thunderbird plumbing first if I need a plumber in the future.
